This Could Get Hectic...
« on: December 19, 2010, 12:20:16 PM »
My Ghosthunter sim was a single mother for a while, and dating John Lessen. I decided to get them married, but it's been really hard managing them. Marina's a ghosthunter, so she sleeps during the day, so no one can take care of Sabrina, who's a toddler, and there's been no time to teach her toddler skills. Help! :(

Just move the toddlers schedual around so she sleeps at the same time as Marina. She should be able to teach the toddler her skills at night then. Doesn't she have any nights off work I have never played the ghost hunter profession.
Or how about asking for unpaid time of work that should help.

Yeah I'd say on the weekend just speed through all her skills. Or make it a three day weekend and take Monday  (or Friday :) ) off! Especially walking and talking cause those seem to take forever sometimes! Potty training you can do anytime her bladder bar isn't full it usually takes me about 4 or 5 times to max that skill. Good luck with the Ghost hunting and baby raising!

You can potty train them in one marathon session even if they don't need to go.  Just stack potty training five times (sometimes genius' will learn in four sessions but five is the normal).  The potty will overflow about the third time but just leave it until you are done, then mop and empty once they are trained.  Then move on to talking and leave walking for last.  Talking seems to go faster (to me) since it is just sitting and talking while walking involves picking up and standing up and backing up and waiting.

Yeah they can learn to potty even if their bladder box thing is full. I just do it all in one go I usually give some one the cue to empty the potty after the third time the toddler has used the potty or buy two pottys.

Wow I didn't know that. That's definitely something I'll do from now on!
