Just to clarify, there are 3 types of relics Zazatotol, Balampalsoh and Totecallama that then paired with each of the three base types, Chaos, Death and Watcher make complete relics.
You then can place any refined common, uncommon or rare crystal with each of those complete relics to get the results you see in mouseysmonsters table.
Any crystal will do, not just the ones you can buy in the jungle, so these relics work with all base game crystals that can be refined on the archaeology work bench
So for example: Zazatototl Relic combined with the watcher base and then combined with a rare crystal will result in the Curse of the Emotional Cloud which can be activated on 'self' or on 'other' or placed in the world.
As mouseymonsters pointed out golden versions of the relics can be reused over and over again as they do not break. Quite cool.
The main buff from this particular curse is:
Sad+2 Curse of the Sadness Cloud
(From Being Cursed)
This curse is causing overwhelming sadness. Work hard and become extremely happy to dispel this curse

Paired with the smaller emotional curses like:
Dazed +2
Dazed Cloud
(From being Struck by Emotional Cloud)
The Curse of the Emotional Cloud is causing sim to feel dazed. Counter this curse or visit the Statue of Madre Cosecha to dispel it

..can lead to some interesting emotional states on your own sim or others as they stack with the main Sadness Curse your sim gets when they first activate the relic.
