Sleep Action Won't Go Away

Any time I play sims and have my sim go to bed, the sleep action won't leave their action queue. If I click on it to dismiss it, the "X" appears over it, but it doesn't go away, and my sim won't perform any other actions.

It used to happen only sometimes, and they could do things even with the cancelled action still appearing in their queue, but it's since gotten worse. I've restarted my game many time, and it even happens on different saves. It started before the new patch, and continues with the new patch.

If someone could help me I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

I haven't seen any recent reports on this (action queue stuck) but you might try these tip:

1. Move the mods folder to desktop (for testing purposes) - This is to fully make sure it's not outdated mods/cc or some hidden files in the Mods folder. - Read more in the post linked below:

We recently received a new game patch that has made some game mods and custom content become outdated. You need to go through your mods folder to see what needs to be updated.

2. Delete Game Cache Files (What and How-To)

The localthumbcache.package can be found in the main Sims 4 folder
C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4

3. Repair Game  - In Origin, right-click on Sims 4 and select Repair. - Do note this repairs the game's install files, it does not make any changes to the saved game files. - Saved games are safe - won't be deleted.

4. Try a Sims 4 factory reset and a new game save without mods/cc.
