I have 7 Everyday Outfits instead of 3?
« on: February 19, 2018, 01:06:42 AM »
I couldn't find anything related to this (or didn't find the right words to search in Google), so I'm seeking help writing here for you:

After I Planned my sim's outfit and added +2 more outfits for every category, every now and then in my current world my sim would come up with new, and apparently random generated, Everyday Outfits; whenever I click on my Sim and then Change Outfit, I have "Everyday 1" "Everyday 2" and "Everyday 3" naturally, but those weird new Everyday Outfits have been stacking up until "Everyday 7" and I've never chose any of those 4 more clothe changes.

I am unable to Edit them on Plan Outfit (I just can edit up to 3 and the "+" sign is grayed out) and can't find a way to get rid of them. Do you have any ideas to either delete them or modify them?

▼This only happens in this category, the rest of them are working well.
▼I am using no mods.
▼I have Ambitions, high end stuff and world adventures expansions.
▼One of the outfits is the black tiny underwear you get to wear when you're tattooing your sim. I've been tattooing regularly.

Thank you.

Edit: Actually, I checked again the outfits - they are actually changing randomly everytime I pick them. It's truly weird.

I'm not sure what's happening with your game, but here are a few things to try:

1. If this has recently started after downloading custom content, you may need to go through it to make sure none of it is outdated.

Try starting the game without it, by opening the launcher, click the Installed Content Tab. Check mark Run Game Without Custom Content. Then click the Play button.

3. Go Back to a Previous Save before the problem started happening.

Thanks, MrsFlynn, I tried to reset the sim and didn't make any difference, also reset the town. I have never used custom content on my game and I'm not really sure what was the point this started to happen, I kind of ignored it until it spreaded too far Dx.

At the very least, I was able to erase the buggy everyday outfits in Plan Outfit CAS screen, it seems that every time I delete a current outfit, the game replaces the slot with the weird ones and there can be deleted too until there is no more. The only drawback is you have to build all your outfits again every time that happens.

It seems there is something wrong with tatooing and getting makeovered at the salon, those where the instances where my sim would get extra outfits with exactly the same clothes they where put on on salon or on tatoo screen, before they get scrambled every time you wear such outfits.

I'll stick to that solution as needed, thanks again.

I've had odd issues with the game switching outfits on me before now that I think more about it. I had to "reset" the work outfit, along with the rest of them. As it messed up the rest of them. That fixed the problem, but still like to keep an eye on stuff just in case. This is all without messing with the tattoo or salon. I think I got hit at the time with the bugged work outfit.
