Actions are suddenly cancelling out/disappearing?
« on: February 18, 2018, 07:24:31 AM »
So I'm going to try to word this as best  as I possibly can. My Sims 3 family game seems to have suddenly broke, leaving me very confused as to why. Some commands I tell my sims to do will automatically or suddenly cancel out and disappear (the actions are immediately disappearing). The command 'sleep' is one which will cancel out suddenly, even if the sims are stood directly next to the bed. However, commands such as 'shower' seem to be working fine, since I am testing what works and doesn't. This has never happened to me before. My computer can handle Sims 3 well. I also do have CC downloaded, but I've not had problems with CC. Mods have never had problems for me too. This problem seems to have suddenly appeared after some Sims in the household had their birthdays. Is there any possible way to fix this?

This sounds like it may be a glitch or a bug. If you haven't yet, try these tips:

1. Move the mods/cc you've recently downloaded to the desktop and try the game again.

2. Reset Town, Individual Sims and/or Evict Household (How-To)

3. Go Back to a Previous Save

I haven't run into this specific issue, but when I run into glitches like this, I usually use Nraas MasterController to reset everything and that seems to help with most game glitches. - See tip #2 to learn how to do that.
