Skeletons are not a life state, it is a 'state' that your sims endure. So like a blessing or a curse... but not that, just using those terms to describe the 'skeleton state'. The skeleton state comes from using relic found in the jungle in certain ways.

So... when your sims summons a skeleton it is an uncontrollable entity or NPC that will be with your sims for a certain time.
When your sims transforms themselves or other sims, they remain in this 'Skeleton State' for a few days I believe or they can cure themselves sooner.

So a bit like being a plant sim then?

I was just teasing about the abductions, since we never have enough!
@HelenP    I loved your analogy!

It will be fun to see what kind of mischief we can get up to in that state. :D (or not, lol)

Yes, I guess so although a permanent part of the game if you have the pack, unlike Plant Sims that you have to cheat to get in a new game now that the Live Event is over.

I am liking the sounds of this one. Lets hope Vamps, ghosts and aliens can be skeletons for a short while if they are cursed or what ever, unlike how they can't be plant sims.

Sims 3 World Adventures Redux. I'm liking it from the perspective of new Tournament challenge possibilities. It will be fun to read how the new content will also be weaved into players' Dynasty stories.

I'm looking forward to this pack, it seems a lot like World Adventures which was my favourite expansion pack from the Sims 4, so it will be nice have a little taste of that again.  :) I love tomb raiding, finding treasure, making my Sims trigger all the traps and get beaten up by Mummies, mwahahaha, pity the last one probably won't happen. But the skeletons are really cool and I love the idea of an Archeology skill and a beautiful new world to explore!  :D

I am not that keen on the Culture skill however as it seems like it's based on things we can already do in the game and looks rather boring to me. I am disappointed the Adventurous and/or Brave traits did not make a comeback but hey, can't have everything, right?

All in all I am amazed at what the Devs have managed to achieve and cannot wait for the Temple Live Stream.

@Metropolis Man Do I sense an Indiana Jone type Challenge?!!! *Plays epic music and cracks bull whip*  ;D

;) what great movies. And let's not forget Michael Douglas and his Romancing the Stone movies. Remember the poor sap that gets his heart yanked out? Yuck! But, it was the 80's and they did it in an 80's kind of way instead of today's anything goes Saw-gore level. Lol.

I love my Sim family and I'm going to put them through it all. The only thing I can't have happening to them is dying, but if they do I have backup saves. They will be exploring together, definitely the kids too as far as they can! It's going to be so much awesome fun. When the Lothario-Vatores have been to this vacation spot, it's gonna be if a swarm of locusts were there 8) *Rubs hands confidently*

If you're lucky, the skeletons will have fleas! (just kidding...)

Let's hope that is a curse you can trigger, your sim gets jungle fleas. And let's us hope they have a campground type lot so I can play as a homeless flea bittin scrounge living on what he can find. That would be fun.

@scoed In the livestream, they said that we could edit some lots, so, I'll bet you could bulldoze one of those, and make a campground type place, and mix it up with a few new items from the new gp, as well 8)!

@oshizu not much of a writer. So that isn't likely. Plus EA refuses to give me the fleas I want. But I already chose said Sims traits. Clepto, loner, and loves outdoors.

I wish we could play as a dog instead of only having dogs as pets. Then you could have your fleas, lol.
