New rule write up is ace thanks! (we need a fist bump emoji). One tiny question, seems obvious, but "New homes must not be previously lived in" just means we (the player) cannot have lived in it right?

Well, yeah, it applies to the player. You cannot evict anyone, so you are all that remains.

With the new saved households system i've had households disappear from the neighbourhood, that is why i've asked.

I just realized that this challenge was available to practice for 8).  Now, I've got to plan my strategy!

  • No adding to the household.

Forgot about that rule.

Team --- I think you made  Sim versions of Jonathan and Drew Scott from the HGTV show "Property Brothers" 8)! I love HGTV, and that show --- and House Hunters are my favorite shows on that network.

You guys are going to kill me, but more changes may be coming. I am waiting to hear back from the team. It's the whole darned one item thing that is confusing things for players and complicating the rules. So, I have an idea that may boil things down even easier. Hold onto your hate I just need to get the team to sign off on my idea. *fingers crossed*

I will be posting rule set 3.0 soon. Still wanting to hear back from one team member, but I will share with everyone my view on this. And I do not get this way too often, but I feel very strongly about dropping the unique item component the more I think about it. It's not a big deal and it would be nice to do a no multiplier challenge. Do what you want with your houses. The whole point of the challenge is you have to move every day -- hard and fast requirement. And each house has to cost more than the lot value of your current house. So, bingo...make your homes worth more by doing whatever you want. Does not matter. When it's time to move...press Build mode to get the lot value...your next home has to be more. Easy peasy, right? I also would like to allow you to add Maxis homes to any empty lots in any world. More options for you. That's the gist of it. The rules will be much simpler.

Okay, one more change incoming today....one of the team members brought to my attention that allowing the placement of EA houses on empty lots is potentially a bad idea in the event that a score would need to be verified. So, with that in mind, I think we'll allow everyone the option to evict families if they choose to do that.

Happy Valentine's Day!  ;D

Now, you can add value to the home, correct?

It's totally up to the player as long as your next home costs more than the last's Lot Value.

For scoring, do you use the lot value when purchased or immediately before selling?
