High Quality Nectar?

Hi, I'm trying to get a high quality nectar meaning that when my sim takes the nectar out of the machine, it says "very good" or "amazing" or what ever. I read Carl's guide and it said that the best nectar is made from life fruit and pomegranate. I've been doing that, but it keeps saying "not very good" and the last one "terrible." The sim who is making doesn't have lev 10 yet, but he is lev 8. What does the game consider "amazing?"

I know that the quality of the grapes/fruits used is impacting quality as well as for how long you leave it to "age" on the rack. I used perfect ingredients and left it for a week or so on the rack. I believe you can upgrade the nectar machine as well for better results.

I think I know what's happening. I re-read the guide and I was putting too many pomegranates in. It said to put only 1 in and 9 life. I did that and it turned out amazing. Even though he is at lev 9 now (he just leveled up), the first batch was worth $492! Since he's lev 9 now, he can do extended nectaration.

Using perfect fruit really helps too. The first batch my sim made came out 'Perfect' using perfect fruit and an upgraded machine. Normally it isn't perfect with the first batch but this sim seems to be pretty lucky even though that isn't one of his traits. (Either that or my game is bugged but I'm taking it.)

Hi Playalot, the fruit he was using was perfect and the  quality of the nectar was perfect, but the combination of the fruit was the telling factor. Using 5/5 Pomegranate/Life fruit, the nectar was only "good" or less. As I said, when I decreased the number of Pomegranates to 1 and 9 Life Fruit, the quality jumped up to "Amazing." So the fruit combinations also work towards the quality (for lack of better words) of the nectar.
