New game, new sim, traveled to the Supernatural Consignment shop on day 3 and all the recipe books for the potions that can only be learned through books were there, so my sim was able to purchase them all! Crazy good luck, usually it takes me weeks to get the 'final missing one'!

I just buy them at the bookstore. They cost more, but I don't care.

I probably should do that too but I get stuck in wanting them to turn up at the consignment store... one of those weird rules I place on myself.

my founder spouse picks up bookshop bargainer and buys all the books from the bookstore lol

Heh, yeah, I do that for all other books, just all my witches must get everything from the Consignment . I have all these 'specific rules' for the different sims I play. Mostly just to make things a little more difficult/challenging etc Like all my cooks must get the recipes from the Natural Cooks in the world and all my gardening sims aren't allowed the Love The Heat trait and so on.
