Doors won't lock!

Is anyone else having trouble with doors staying locked since Cats & Dogs and its pre-patch?

Lately, I've noticed that I can't keep the dog out of the fenced garden (I don't need him peeing there, lol).
Also, upstairs bathrooms are locked for household use, but club members are able to access them, anyway.

I've just been having trouble in general lately with my dynasty household and associated club members.
They seem to be able to enter and use whichever bedroom and bathroom they want, even after I relock the door multiple times (like a half dozen).

Are club members now considered "household members"?
Since that Cats & Dogs pre-patch, I've been repairing my game before each play session.

Hey @oshizu you already know I'm having trouble with this in my Sim's apartment building, I forgot to mention, not only can her boyfriend enter her apartment but so can her friends, especially annoying as she has the Incredibly Friendly reward. This is when the door is locked to Household Members Only, but when I locked it for only her, it seemed to solve the issue. It seems the game is recognizing friends and possibly club members as household members when it comes to door locks. *Sigh*

One more thing I should probably mention, my Sim has several boyfriends (She is doing the Serial Romantic Aspiration) and as soon as she unlocks the door for someone, this guy instantly appears in the foyer and swoops through her door, he's really quick too!  None of her other lovers do this except him, although he is the father of her child so I wonder if that has to do with it?

Sorry but I giggled about your sim's baby daddy quickly swooping through her door.
Is she experiencing the "Baby-Daddy-Who-Never-Leaves" thing? I'm playing a save now where the parents both live in the same house.
But the last time one of the my sims had a live-out baby daddy, he almost never went home during the toddler stage. He finally left when the toddler aged up to a child.

My Townie Dynasty has been unplayable today. I couldn't rage quit because the rules say we can't just quit without saving to avoid something bad.
So, I rage save/quit, lol. Time for The Sims Medieval or WoW, I guess. *sniffle, sniffle

"Rage saving then quit" isn't nearly as satisfying though!

Have you tried replacing the doors? I've noticed that when a Sim moves in with an existing family (as you do in the Townie Dynasty), doors, refrigerators, and computers can be wonky and seem to lose some functionality. I was unable to lock doors at all until I replaced them. I've also been unable to order upgrade parts and seeds on computers. It's like the game isn't recognizing that my Sim lives on the lot and is treating some items as it would on a community lot or as though my Sim is visiting until they are replaced.

I'm used to replacing fridges, bookcases, and computers when moving in with an existing family, but I'd never had to replace doors.
In fact, I had no problem with doors at either the Yuma Height or Dresden House lots.

Lol, what's been happening today is that doors I'd set to "Unlock for [whoever's bedroom it is]" are autonomously switching to "Lock for...Everyone."
I couldn't figure out why one spare was standing in his room, hungry and grungy, then realized he was locked in his room.

I'm going to go replace all the doors in the house right now!

@oshizu It sounds like I do have that Baby-Daddy-Who-Never-Leaves bug in my game as the option to ask him to leave just isn't there, his daughter is a toddler too, which I've heard triggers this bug. This is in my Not So Berry Challenge and I'm using MC Command Center solely for this game, so I make him leave with that. (It's allowed for this challenge, being only a casual one and all). Maybe he'll stop when she becomes a child, one can only hope.

@reggikko My Sim moved into an empty apartment by herself, so that's not the trigger, I wish I could replace the front door but that's not possible with an apartment. No matter, she will have to move anyway once her daughter is old enough to build her own rocket ship (Part of that generations goals) so hopefully that will solve the issue?

I did try replacing all the exterior and interior doors yesterday (irl) and it seemed to work fine after that.
But when I loaded up the game again today, all of the lock settings had changed.

I've been trying to keep my sim's clubmates from harvesting his garden.
Gardening is a banned club activity and the garden's gates are set to "Lock for everybody but (the heir)," but the clubmates can still go in and out of the garden freely.
And they harvest all of his quill fruit, spiky orbs, and so forth.
It's so maddening---I removed the garden gates just now.
Earlier the entire club (except the heir) plus both pets were in the toddlers' bedroom which I'd locked to everybody but the heir and the toddlers.
So, yes, replacing all the doors is not a permanent solution--I wish it were!

Awwwww @Rainbow Dash -- it's so joyless when the game is glitchy, isn't it? Did the baby daddy vanish when the daughter aged up to a child?

No matter, she will have to move anyway once her daughter is old enough to build her own rocket ship (Part of that generations goals) so hopefully that will solve the issue? 

Oh, do you think it's a lot-specific issue? Well, then I only have 4.5 more sim weeks to go! *sniff, sniff

His daughter is still a toddler as I haven't had much time to play my Not So Berry game thanks to the Tournament Challenges. (I'm skipping the House Hunting one). XD I don't think it's a lot issue although that would be helpful if it was. Now that my Rose generation Sim has knocked out the Serial Romantic milestone of having several relationships at once, I no longer need her daughter's baby daddy in the picture. I haven't decided whether I am going to kill him of yet or not.
