Rug Rats: Surviving a Toddler Run Household

In my practice run, I never adopted so many toddlers that only babies were available for adoption, but I do have a related question.

If we can only adopt a baby because no toddlers are available, how do we decide on the todder's trait when we age them up?

Yep. Your choice. If there had been some type of restriction we definitely would have laid that down.

I just created an account so I can participate in this challenge. Toddlers are my favorite, so this should be interesting.

I just want to double check, since I haven't done one of these before:

1. Absolutely no money cheats, right? Whatever you start with is what you have to build the house and furnish it?
2. Lifespan is on short, not normal or long?
3. If everyone in the house is standing around doing nothing because they're buggy, can I hit M to go to the travel screen, and then cancel out, or go to build/buy mode and then immediately return? Or is resetsim the only option here?

Sorry if you've already answered these, or if they're plainly obvious in the rules. And thanks!

I do apologize, when I was typing in the spreadsheet I at the same time was talking with a friend on where i buy my supply to sewing my pearl things, must have switched the links

Absolutely agree with you there @reggikko. Now Hand of the Watcher is allowed, its tipped from almost impossible to very enjoyable. I hope more players attempt this Rugrat challenge than the handiness one. IMO, this one is actually more enjoyable as its not just repetition of mainly one action and it will definitely help anyone wanting to do the big family/legacy style challenges. This is just an example of how great the challenge team are in their flexibility to listen to the community during the practice period and balance the challenge to make it still challenging but also, more importantly, enjoyable.

I was really hoping it wasn't a virus on my computer so I appreciate the courage *hugs.
In the meantime I started a simple excel to keep track of my test run  which I played for 1 hour and then abandoned

It's sooooo hard not to click on the adults. I must have clicked on them at least 10 times in that hour

This is just an example of how great the challenge team are in their flexibility to listen to the community during the practice period and balance the challenge to make it still challenging but also, more importantly, enjoyable.
