Grocery store bug

My Sims don't have any seeds in their inventory, yet they still can't use the grocery shop! Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a fix to this?
Basically what happens is that my sims immediately reset when trying to use the grocery shop. This is driving me crazy, as I have the "No Shopping from Fridge" mod. My sims are gonna starve.
Another thing I've noticed is that when my sims try to fish, they immediately cancel the interaction. Also, keep in mind that they don't have any seeds at all in their inventory.

Here are a few troubleshooting tips:

1. Replace grocery store with one from the community library from edit town mode, as the grocery store might be glitched. [You can find the grocery store in the library > community tab.]

2. Move the mods folder to the desktop and try playing the game. Mods or custom content may be causing problems with the game.

If you've recently downloaded mods or custom content, try the game without them to see if that helps solve the issue.

3. If you haven't already, try deleting the game cache files.

4. Try a new save as a test, as the save might have glitched.

5. Try a factory reset of the game. Move the Sims 3 folder to the desktop and play a new test game without any mods/cc or other saves. It could be that something within the previous folder may have glitched making the game not work correctly.

My game automatically minimized on startup and now it won't maximize. Great. So I can't delete the cache files or the game completely breaks.

You can delete the cache files without getting into the game. If you had read the post you would have seen that you go to: C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 and delete these files:

CASPartCache.package; compositorCache.package; DeviceConfig.log; scriptCache.package; simCompositorCache.package; Sims3LauncherLogFile.log; Sims3Logs.xml; and socialCache.package

Deleting the cache files won't break the game.

@DatGuyAron  you need to remove your mods. You've already stated that you're using a mod...take it out and then check your game. I bet it will run perfectly without it.

If it doesn't run perfectly with no mods... then you can post back here for more help.
