Visiting an owned Retail lot question.

I designed my first Retail business, we are managing ok, with just the Owner and an Employee.

Then I was playing another household and decided to visit it like a customer.

When I arrived, the employee was there and so were a couple of annoying random generated employees, I never hired.
And what was more applauding they weren't even wearing the Uniform I assigned, and they looked so out of place there.

And asking is it supposed to work this way?, and if so, I'm extremely disappointed.

Or do have to hire an extra two employees with Perk points to avoid this?

Usually the retail lots, restaurants and vet clinic just function as if they were NPC owned when you visit them (with another household) but when you go back to the lot with the sim that owns them everything should be as if you never left. So, yes, it sounds as though the game is functioning correctly.

I guess the game just spawn in NPC's to cover the roles for each specific lot which should leave your hired sims intact for when your owner sim gets played again.

I guess i'm used to the game generating NPCs whenever it suits them but shame they don't wear the correct Uniform.
