Yes, we did indeed have another house makeover. This time, a second story was added.
The house from the outside.
The upper story, now with the younger generation's bedrooms.
This is the new living area, where Esther and Frank's bedrooms were before the makeover.
Chapter 18- All Grown Up
SATURDAY
The first morning of the weekend. Ah. Esther and Frank chat, while Billi makes breakfast. She has the day off, but as usual, she still has a heap of things to do.
On Friday, Esther met somebody new at school. His name is Sammy Pfeiffer, and although she can't pronounce his last name, she's decided to invite him over. They click.
Unfortunately, Billi feels the need to stop sculpting, and come over and harass Sammy about flowerpots. Esther looks on in annoyance. Billi is friends with most of the island, so why does she have to come and steal her daughters friends? Billi eventually backs off, but not before she's learnt Sammy's traits. They are Flirty, Family Orientated, and he's a Kepto.
Meanwhile, Frank is inside, talking to Carol on the phone. His mother has already hinted that Carol would be a great match for him, probably because she knows the entire Bunch family. Frank, being the smart boy he is, has already figured out he's not the heir, but Billi continues to insist that he needs a girlfriend anyway. Well, at any rate, Carol is just a friend, and nothing more.
Then, that evening, after a day of chatting (And flirting), Esther and Sammy kiss. It's official. Esther Tunic is off the market, much to the dismay of her many admirers.
The family sits down to a late dinner. Pasta, with meatballs.
Frank- Guess what? Today, I was reading a book, and then I realised how it was possible to turn lead into gold! The equation is-
Billi- That's nice dear. Esther had her first kiss today!
Esther- Mum!
SUNDAY
The toilet has broken. How unusual.
Esther's small garden is going well. She's at level five, and the first harvest is almost ready.
Even after the house renovation, the Tunic family still has have quite a bit of money under their belt, so Billi feels safe enough to start churning out stone sculpture. They bring in quite a bit of money, along with Billi's job. She's Level 9, Vice-President.
Oh, yeah, it's your birthday. It's your birthday, Frank!
He looks very excited.
Frank- Why wouldn't I be?
Point taken.
Frank- I'm a man!
Esther- A man with very little fashion sense, and ridiculous hair.
Frank- Hey! You also aren't even in this picture!
Frank, hair and all, gains the Bookworm trait, and his LTW is, of course, World Renowned Surgeon.
Shayne continues to get his groove on, even in the afterlife.
MONDAY
Frank is up, long before anybody else, and he quickly heads to the Hospitable, to become a Organ Donor.
Gee, Frank, I think you should probably get promoted ASAP, before you lose too many of your vital organs!
Billi heads of to work, but I don't think any promotion is in sight.
After a day of making out with Sammy under under the desk, Esther's garden is ready for harvest.
A bit more sculpting for Billi. She has received an opportunity to make six wooden sculptures to the Criminal Warehouse, and they'll pay her, so that will be her next project.
