I have another question about Build Challenge #3.
How do I calculate the use of roof trim in a minor color? Do I subtract $125 for each click?
Or does it not matter since roofing materials are free?
Roofing materials are part of the cost so for each 'complete roof piece' it would be one use of a minor color ($125) if it is not in your main color option. The trims are the same cost, so for each 'complete use-one whole roof piece' that would be a cost of one minor color...if not in your main color choice.

Now that I've actually played around with the exterior elements, I've found no need to "stray" from the Dutch Colonial style, hehe.
I'm still a little unclear about the roofing.
For example, say I have 4 rooms, a portico, and 2 dormers. If they aren't my main color, does that mean 7 x $125 = $875?
My problem is that I can't use a single roof piece for the porch--so if my porch requires 6 pieces, for example, does that means $6x125 = $750?
My apologies for my density! I'm just trying to figure out what's budget-efficient styling and what's not.
