« on: December 26, 2017, 03:12:35 AM »
Hi, I recently got a new laptop and whilst I've fixed this before on my brother's gtx 1050, I don't really know how to go with the new graphics card Mx150 T_T

Hi liann1009, welcome to the forum. :)

Can you detail what errors you're facing? Is the game refusing to launch, not displaying correctly? Are textures messed up, are you getting a black screen? Are you playing with any mods or CC, specifically anything that introduces new items to the game? Is there an error message? :)

In the post linked below is a step-by-step on how to get the graphics card to be recognized by the game.

How-To: Get Sims 3 to Recognize a New Graphics Card

If you want help with this -

From your DeviceConfig.log file, please let us know your graphics device ID. For example: Chipset: Vendor: 10de, Device: 139b

Or the information in the Graphics device Info section of the file. With that we can better help edit the graphicscards.sgr and graphicsrules.sgr files.
