Delete urn without a ghost or tombstone

It was just a huge cluster fudge of an event, but I had a random die in my house. Now I can get rid of his urn. There's no ghost or tombstone to go with it. Please help! Thanks!

A sim who dies will either leave an urn behind when they die inside or they will leave a grave stone if they die outside. So release the dead sims spirit to the nether and then you can delete the urn in build/buy mode. Releasing the ghost to the nether basically deletes the sim forever - just click on the urn and the option should appear. Doesn't matter if you haven't seen the ghost in-game yet or not.
