Sims 4 Content on Disc?Origin has been going the way of digital downloads with their games since about 2015.
There will be boxed versions of bundle packs, and expansions available in physical retail stores worldwide. In some countries, this will include a physical PC disc – please contact your local retailer for more information. All versions will include a code that enables you to download the game on both PC and Mac through Origin.

You have to have an Origin account to open and play the game. The game and stuff packs will also need to be downloaded via Origin. Including those packs bundled into a bundle pack.
