To add a question here, I haven't played Bridgeport a lot, but haven't find any new bug/butterfly anywhere. Nor did I find ores (except in consignment shop). I only find Vampire eye gem in town (in BP, graveyard and around Plasma bar), I got Smithsonite from boardbreaker, but that's it.
I would really like some tips if it is possible to find those ores and gems in SV, or at least where in BP, and pictures of LN butterfly/bugs. Thanks.

I could try to find something, but that may take a while...

In the meantime, if you don't mind using cheats, you can use testingcheatsenabled true, then restrictbuildbuyinbuildings false, and buydebug on, go to Edit Town, select a lot like a park or something that matches the collectible you want to add, Buy on it, go on "sort by function", and click the "?" there. You'll find menus for insects, metals, fish, etc. Find the insect spawner you want (since it's Will O Wisp, it has a Late Night marker, so it shouldn't be hard find it) and put one, maybe two down in the neighborhood. Although not really legit, this helps if you really want it.

I have found two so far.  One at Buena Vista Resort, the other at the Graveyard.  I found both at night( 12:30am and 3:30am), this may just be a coincidence, because my sim is a vampire and only looks at night.  However, given the nature of the expansion, and that most folklore I am aware of concerning wisps points to them being nocturnal, I would suggest look during the night.

That's an excellent theory.  I'd like to hear if anyone has luck finding them at night.

My sims found the BLUE one. However, I forgot where it was found but I ensure it was found in daytime.
Now I realize playing the Sims 3 on Mac is playing the game of installation and uninstallation...

I used the spawner with buydebug and got the blue one and green one. I have not found a pink one yet.

I couldn't find any of the LateNight insects (Spiders are arachnids, trilobites are crustaceans and Will'o Wisps are folkloric elementals, but ok, let's call them "insects") in Sunset Valley. Wonder if they were even added...

Has anyone found at least one of them in SV? Using the buydebug spawners doesn't count.

No Late Night insects will never show up in other towns then Bridgeport. Same as with World Adventure insects. I tested this fully.

For rocks it's a bit different; I found a vampire rock in another town but they are EXTREMELY rare to be found in these other towns.

No problem with the Vampire's Eye gem, I got loads of it from space-rock breaking. It's a pity that I'll have to go to BP to get those buggies...

I found a spider once in Twinbrook by the marshes, is that a Late Night insect?
