My active household sim visiting vet while I am the vet. Glitch?

So today I made a new household to play with the Sims Cats and Dogs. Because I am really excited for the Vet career I bought the existing Vet Clinic. My active household sim is the one owning the vet clinic now and I started my first work day. But then 'my' sim walked right in with 'my' dog to get it treated!  haha.

I wonder if this is a glitch?

Oh! I have heard of this happening but I can't find the bug report. I'll keep looking. I'm not sure if there is an actual fix per say, rather you just delete the clones. I bet you were pretty surprised! lol
