For the parents, can you use Ambrosia to help stop them from dying before the 45th child arrives?

The rules state "Your parents may take the Potion of Youth whenever they are within two days of becoming elders." So you have already have the potion, it's the same effects as making the ambrosia with less steps.  I don't see a problem with it, but lets see where the others stand.

Do the parents follow the same rules in regard to aspirations as the teens or can both parents work on the same aspirations?

We didn't state that the parents had to be "Unique" Just that each parent had to "complete" an aspiration before trying for baby. I guess that would be up to the player. Do the others want to weigh in and clarify?

Yeah, Ambrosia nets a player the same effect, so I'll edit the rule to allow both.

Yes, human, or normal Sim, is a life state that can be used.

@reggikko, we don't say that parents have to have unique aspirations, so yes, they can work on the same one.

Even though offspring won't be under our control after they move out, I guess downloading a kitted-out house from the Gallery could be an exploit...

The team decided not to make rules about moving the household except that obviously, you can't move in with the Landgraabs or some other wealthy family as that would require the "ask to move in" interaction. As for houses from the Gallery, you do that at your own risk.

It will be fun to move the main household (the parents) around, I'd imagine.
That's great news about Gallery lots. I like the idea of being able to choose from houses hashtagged not only #carlsguiderdc but also #carlsguide.

In view of the ban on moving out YA offspring of the same life state consecutively, are full aliens and alien hybrids considered different life states?

In this connection, what constitutes an alien hybrid? I've experienced one or two hybrid children with the human skintone but capable of doing the alien handshake.
Is "alien skintone" or alien powers the deciding factor?

Alien hybrids are considered human. My understanding is that full aliens only come from an alien/alien pairing or an alien/vampire pairing or from abduction, of course. If you like, you can treat the hybrids with alien skin tones as fairies.

You can add pets any way that you like. Teens' reward traits do not have to be unique.

Only while the Sims are working on the aspiration.

I have a question about the following rule.

In CAS create a YA married couple. They may be vampire, human, alien, or any mix.

In the case that we have one or two favorite sims in MyLibrary (Gallery), would we be permitted to make clean clones of her/him as the founding couple?
I mean, of course, that we'd be starting with two sims without any additional traits (except the three starting traits) or aspirations/careers either started or completed.

If the rules require freshly-created CAS sims, that's fine, too. I just thought I'd ask.
