Divorced via cheats?
« on: October 30, 2017, 06:15:53 PM »
I made a sims family with a teenage girl, mom, and stepdad. Later on I made a biological dad for the girl (just went into edit family, created new sim, and set him as the dad, no cheats involved), and I was wondering if I could make the mom and dad's relationship as divorced. I looked up some relationship cheats and found this cheat (requires testingcheats to work):

relationship.add_bit {yoursimID} {targetsimID} {relationshipBit}

you use this cheat to get the simID:

Sims.get_sim_id_by_name {yoursimsfirstname} {yoursimslastname}

and these were the listed values for {relationshipBit}:

romantic-Married
family_husband_wife
family_grandchild
family_son_daughter
family_brother_sister
family_grandparent
family_parent

no divorce one was listed, so I tried using romantic-Divorced to see if it worked. Something did happen, my sim got the just married buff, but the status with the mom didn't change (it might have to do with them not living together, or maybe another sim had her name, I just used the in game name generator, and I actually got their ID).

I don't want to make the mom divorce her current husband, marry her ex, divorce him, and re-marry her second husband, and really I guess having this status doesn't matter, but I want to see if I can. (Also, does the game keep track of which sims have woohooed? If it didn't account for the two parents previously being in a relationship, it might not have registered that they woohooed even though they have a daughter)
