Game crashes when playing Pets

Does your computer crash after just a few minutes of play, when playing Pets. Every time I try to play, after less than 5 minutes, I get a message, saying "Sims has stopped working. Windows will try to find a solution and get back with you." Or some such nonsense.

Well, nothing ever happens. I just can not play Pets! I even delete all my games, and reload. Zip, zilch, nada!
