Sims 3 DEP and Crashing

Okay so my sims 3 game kept crashing so I decided to try the DEP trick. When I go to do this only my base game shows up and none of my expansion packs. My packs are installed through Origin. When I go to the sims 3 launcher it says none of my expansion packs are installed. How do I fix this?

DEP doesn't work with the Origin version. It only works with the disc and/or Steam version.

With the Origin version, you may need to check under Expansions and Stuff to make sure the expansions and stuff packs are installed and usable.

Sims game is crashing, I ran Delphys Custard and no bad cc was detected. Also can't run the DEP trick because my games are installed through origin. Nothing has worked please help.

And again, DEP can't not be used with the Origin version of Sims 3 due to the changes EA has made to link the game into the Origin client.

If you're not able to see your expansions or they are not installing for whatever reason. See the tips in the thread linked below.
