Pink Diamonds in Riverview

In the town of Riverview my sim using the collection helper has cleared out the town of gems for 3 in game weeks finding no pink diamonds. I am aware of the masoleum and looking in trash cans to find them but want to find them in the world. Has anyone actually found one on the map if so where? I know they are rare but come on 3 in game weeks kind of ridiculous. I also tried placing spawners with buydebug but they never spawn.

They are exceedingly rare. Maybe that's why? Rainbow gems spawn more frequently in my games than pink diamond.

You may have to break some boards to get one. It is easier then finding them from my experience. Also I seen them in the elixir consignment shop but that is very rare. Hope that helps. If your looking for them the old fashioned way they are extremely rare and it will take a while.
