Author Topic: Placed a house from library but sim won't enter house Fixed (Read 5759 times)

I built a house in an old saved game and put it in my library. I wanted to use it for my new game so I "moved" my sim to an empty lot and imported my house, but she will not go inside! She keeps trying to walk around it but will not go through the door. If I teleport her inside she'll do what I tell her to do but once she exits it again she won't go back in. Door is unlocked. I've tried evicting her and moving her back in, didn't work. What can I do? I don't want to have to teleport her everywhere.

Have you tried replacing the door?

Is it a foundation issue? Need stairs or delete and replace existing ones? Is your sim doing the "routing fail" animation or is it just standing there?

I did try deleting the door and replacing it. It didn't work. And the last Sim family I had living in it when I built it never had a problem as far as needing stairs. She does give the little animation (with the feet and a red X). $:-\$
