Time was flying by. Life went into auto pilot after moms passing, Aria continued to do well in school while Lucas and I kept up with all of the house work. It was hard to believe that it's been almost a year now since mom passed away. Lucas and I have been dating for a little over a year and it was great. Waking up next to someone who makes you happy and protects you is a great feeling. He truly loves me for who I am and takes care of me in more ways then one. Oh, did I forget to mention? We added a new family member! Don't worry, this one has fur!

Her name is Tiger, because of obvious reasons. We figured it may help Scruff with the loss of mom, he still looks for her every once in a while. Plus, I've always wanted to have a cat. She was definitely a crazy kitten, the first night we had her she would not stop running through every room. I couldn't blame her though for being trapped in a cage for her whole life. She never had to be trapped again.

"Lily?" Aria asked from the island.

"Yes?"

"What would you do if a friend was in trouble but she wouldn't tell you why?"

I was making a light snack for her while she worked on homework.

"Well, has she came to you with this problem?"

"Not yet."

"I would let her know casually that you will always be there for her. Let her know that you are a safe place and can help when she is ready."

"That's a good idea."

"Also, if the problem is bigger than you can handle you come to me and we can work something out."

"Alright!"

...

"That can't be right." Lucas said.

"What can't?"

"This measurement is off, and I've measured it three times!"

"You can start over if needed."

He sighed.

He has taken up wood working as a way to sharpen his skills. He's made a few statues but now has convinced himself that he can make furniture. I'll let you in on a little secret, I was pretty sure he was getting himself in over his head. But don't tell him I said that or else his ego will be bruised. I've decided to pick up playing the piano as a hobby while he insisted on furniture making. It was slow at first but I was getting a hang of it. I half expected Lucas to go running down the street in the beginning, or at least buy a pair of ear plugs. He must really be concentrated on being Mr. Fix It, it helped that the dryer busted almost daily. But it saved us on hiring a repairman to come fix it every single time.

It also helped when he told me that we had a date Friday night. I did have a dress code to uphold though apparently. I picked out this nice red dress with a simple red bracelet and heels, I looked at myself in the mirror as I sprayed some perfume on myself. I was nervous for some reason because I had this feeling something big was going to happen. Why else would he tell me to dress nicely and meet him in the front yard? I took a deep breath as I walked down the stairs. Lucas was standing in the yard in nice dress pants and a nice vest, even from the back he looked handsome.

"Lucas?"

He slowly turned around.

"Wow, you look... beautiful."

I smiled and blushed.

"You look handsome." I said.

"Thank you."

"I have something for you." He said.

I looked at him has he pulled out a single rose, it's become his signature.

"Thank you." I said sniffing it.

I smiled as he looked me in the eyes.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Because you are so amazing, and beautiful."

I blushed.

"But there's something else. There is a reason I wanted this date to be so special."

"What's that?"

It felt like there was a lump in my throat.

"I need to ask you a very important question." He said, bending down on one knee.

My heart skipped a beat as my palms went sweaty.

"Lily, I knew from the moment you showed up at my doorstep that you were going to change my life somehow. That day I took a risk and entered your life and you've changed mine for the better. I've seen you at your best, and I've seen you at your very worst and I can honestly say that I love you no matter which side I may end up with that day. You are the love of my life and I cannot imagine a day without you. Will you please do me the honor and become my wife?"

I couldn't breathe, was this really happening?!

"Yes! Yes of course!" I cried.

I was engaged. Aria didn't take long to find out either because she came running out and attacked both of us in hugs. She must have been watching from the windows, what a creep. We watched a movie that night as a family, but after the movie ended Lucas and I headed to the room for some alone time. We were getting married! There was so much to do! Or was there? We didn't know many people from the neighborhood, not closely that is, so maybe a small wedding would be best. I was getting married. The excitement didn't end there though, because not too long after that happened Aria celebrated her birthday! She was now a young adult! No more school for her, something she was excited about even though she wouldn't admit it.

My sister is beautiful, isn't she?

Hello! Lucas and Lily are engaged and Aria is now a young adult! I wish the aging wasn't so messed up, but they should be adults soon anyway! I hope you enjoyed this chapter! =D

"So, I figure we could just have the wedding ceremony in the back yard." I suggested.

"That sounds like a good idea." Aria agreed.

"Sounds perfect." Lucas said smiling.

"Aria can be my bridesmaid, even though it will be a small wedding."

"Scruff can be the flower dog!" Aria said.

We all laughed.

"Oh! I know how to make a white cake!" Aria offered.

"Perfect!" I said.

Tiger and Lucas had become best friends ever since we brought her home.

There was no denying she was a cutie though!

A couple months passed and Scruff had his birthday. He was now an elder and we had to face the fact that we weren't going to have him around much longer. The vet suggested that we kept up the normal exercise and diet until he couldn't do it any longer. Shortly after that Tiger turned into an adult! She was still as crazy as ever!

Scruff was still a little jealous of Tiger, but we tried our hardest to make sure he got just as much attention from all of us. Especially since he would require a lot more attention now that he would struggle to do his every day things.

Between wedding planning and taking care of the house and pets I made time to practice the piano. I was getting pretty good at it as well, at least Lucas swore his ears didn't bleed anymore. Tiger ended up sleeping on the floor at my feet whenever I decided to play. I wasn't the only one who found a hobby though. Aria had decided to take up writing but she wasn't sure if she was going to write books or do it just for fun. I told her that if she was serious she should find an editor and see what could come of it.

...

"Do you think I'm ready?" I asked.

"Ready for what?" Aria asked over breakfast, Lucas still wasn't up.

"To be a wife." I said.

"Of course you are! I see the way you light up when he walks in the room!"

"What if I can't take care of him?"

"Well, you've done a pretty good job so well. Being married won't be much different, you'll figure it out together."

"You're right."

"Did you find the dress yet?"

"Yeah! I'll show you it later! It's simple but beautiful, I think he'll love it."

"I'm sure he will."

I was nervous about being married. Not that I was having second thoughts but just the fact that I was committing to this person for the rest of my life was scary and exciting. I often found myself day dreaming about what our life was going to be like. Would we have kids, and if so how many? What would they be like? Would we stay in this house forever and grow old together? Watching our grandchildren grow up as well? So many questions that I couldn't wait to have answered in time. I was going to be his wife soon, his wife.

I just wish mom was here to see it.

Just a small update to keep you guys up to date on what is happening! =D Thank you for reading my story!

Nothing important to add, Ally, but since you've done several updates without a reply, just wanted to say good job, and keep it up. I'm looking forward to seeing how you pivot this story into the next generation.

Thank you! It does worry me when I don't get replies, because for me it's harder to judge if people are enjoying the story or have given up on it entirely.

"So, are you ready to marry my sister?" Aria asked Lucas.

"I was ready the day I met her." He said.

"That wasn't cheesy or anything." I groaned.

He flashed a smile at me.

"Well I for one cannot wait to see her in her wedding dress." Aria added.

"She'll be beautiful no matter what." He told her.

"You have to say that." I giggled.

"I suppose, but it's the truth."

"I cannot wait to wear my dress, Lily helped pick it out and it's so pretty!"

"I cannot wait to see you in it!" I told her.

The wedding was tomorrow and I was so nervous. Lucas was sleeping in his old bedroom for the night because of the whole bad luck to see the bride before the wedding thing. I was standing in front of my dress that was hanging up just waiting to be worn. It was three in the morning and I was to jittery to sleep, the wedding was just hours away and I was about to become someone's wife. I was wondering if he was sleeping, or was he just as nervous as I was? I wasn't sure why I was nervous because it was just going to be us, Aria, and the animals. Let's be honest the animals probably wouldn't stay still long enough to "watch" us get married. Maybe I was confusing nervousness with excitement because I was excited. I was going to become his wife in just a few short hours.

...

"It's time." Aria said from the doorway.

"Okay." I took a deep breath.

She smiled and went to get changed herself. I stood up from the bed and walked into the closet to get changed into my dress. Was he ready already? Or was he just getting dressed as well? What color suit was he wearing? So many questions and I felt like I was going to puke.

I did however, love my dress and the way I looked in it.

"Wow." Aria said as I snuck into the bathroom.

"Do I look okay?"

"You look gorgeous." She smiled.

"So do you! Look at you!"

"Thanks! I love this dress, I'm glad we found it!"

"Me too."

We hugged each other.

"Is he ready? How does he look?" I asked her.

"Charming, very sharp."

I smiled and nodded.

"Well, are we ready?" She asked.

"I feel like my insides are spinning."

She gave a nervous laugh as we linked arms and walked outside.

"I wish mom was here." I whispered as we walked to the alter.

"She is here, she'll be standing right next to me." Aria said giving me a small smile.

I patted her arm and we finally arrived at the alter and I stood in front of Lucas who did look very sharp.

"You look beautiful." He said, his voice cracking.

"Thank you, Aria was right you do look sharp." I said smoothing out his suit.

He laughed a little.

"So? Shall we get married?" He asked.

"I thought you'd never ask." I whispered.

So, right there and then we got married. We looked up the traditional vows online because we both weren't very good at making those up. We knew how we felt about each other.

"Now comes the kissing part." Lucas said after we said I do.

"I like that part." I smiled.

"You did it!!! You are married now!!" Aria said rushing over to me and giving me a hug.

"Thank you!"

"Mom would be so proud of you!" She told me.

After the ceremony we went inside to have some of Aria's delicious wedding cake that she had baked us earlier in the day. Lucas and I did the traditional feed each other a little bit of cake but ended up smashing it into each others face. Of course we had an actual piece of cake after but we had to mess around a little. After the cake we decided to end with a family movie night, romantic comedy of course. We were married now, it was amazing. Here's to our future and all the good and bad there is to come.

I cannot wait.

There! Update out! They are married! WOO!

Being married wasn't as different as dating really. But that doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy and cherish the fact that Lucas was now my husband.

"I'm home!" Aria called.

"In the kitchen!"

Aria came walking into the kitchen and sets Scruff's leash on the counter.

"How did the appointment go?" I asked.

"Fine, she wrote down a list of a few foods we could try. They shouldn't upset his stomach like the old kind has been doing."

"Okay, I will have Lucas go look at them later today."

"She said we should also make sure to pay as much attention as we can. She thinks if he feels ignored or jealous by Tiger he may react negatively."

"Got it."

"Smells good!" Aria smiled.

"Thanks."

I was making pasta for dinner.

"Hey could you please hang up the clothes to dry?" I asked.

"Sure!"

We decided to try to air dry the clothes more and use the dryer less. It was working out well so far but there was still times where we had to use the clothes line and dryer. I just wanted to prevent anymore house fires, I can't handle losing another person before it was their time.

...

"I want to write a book." Aria said.

We were sitting at the table one morning for breakfast. Lucas was out picking up the special dog food and for some other household items that we needed.

"Really?! You think you are ready?" I asked.

"Yeah, I mean I'm nervous but I my editor likes my writing style! So I think I'm going to give it a chance." She said.

"That's great! What kind of book?"

"Well, I was thinking a children's book to start."

"Why a children's book?"

"In hopes that maybe one day I'll have a niece or nephew to read it too."

I smiled, "I hope so."

I thought a lot about having children, but was it too late? We were almost adults, and soon after that we'd be elders.

"What if something happens?" I asked out of no where.

"What do you mean?"

"What if, what if we have children and something happens to either Lucas or I, or both?"

"Then, god forbid, they have a kick ass aunt to take care of them."

"Thank you."

She smiled.

...

Tiger has found a new sleeping spot that seems to be her favorite spot. It was like she was afraid of leaving that spot because she may lose the chance to eat.

She also likes to sit in front of the clothes line and try to catch the little droplets of water that fell from the clothes. It was really cute to see because when she finally catches it she will shake her paw because she doesn't like water. But she just sits there and continues to do it every time there are clothes on the line.

"Come on Scruff!"

Bark!

"Let's go for a jog! I bet I'll beat you!" Aria said.

I laughed as the two of them ran out of the house and down the street, Aria taking the lead in their great human vs. dog race.

Losing Scruff was going to hurt. We grew up with him and he grew up with us. He was there through every tear, through every laugh, and through every struggle that we all went through. He accepted and loved us more than we could ever return no matter how much I tried. He was our Scruff, and our fur baby. We just had to cherish the time we had left with him and make the most of it.

Just a small update =]

Just a small update! First, thank you so much for almost 800 views! That is awesome! I'm glad that everyone is enjoying the story so much! Lastly, I've been into Sims a lot lately as you guys can see I've been getting updates out more frequently. My goal is to get at least one update every day, if I can get more that's great but I want to start updating at least once a day for you guys! I hope it doesn't feel rushed or moving too fast, if it does let me know and I will adjust! =]

"What on Earth are you watching?!" I asked.

I walked into the kitchen to see Aria watching kid shows.

"I'm doing a little research for my book." She laughed.

"By watching kid shows?"

"Yeah, my editor thought it might be best to watch children shows."

"Are you almost done?" I asked.

"Yeah! I'm so excited and nervous!"

I was so proud of her, when she first started this writing thing she was just doing it to keep busy. Then it turned into maybe she could do this for a living and here she was writing her first book. She worked hard on it too because there were nights where she was up until two in the morning tweaking things. This was only a children's book and she put so much work into it. I couldn't wait to see what she was going to do when she wrote an actual novel. I told her I better get the first copy of every book she ever writes and it better be signed as well. I already had a shelf picked out and everything. So when she finally was able to publish it she literally ran to the mailbox in excitement.

...

"How is my beautiful wife doing today?" Lucas asked.

"I'm doing okay."

"Just okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, just having an off day." I smiled.

"Well let's change that."

He was so sweet to me.

"So Scuff had his food, and I put it away so that Tiger isn't eating all of it."

"Yeah, I cannot believe that she did that!"

Tiger had eaten everything from Scruff's bowl the first night of having his special food. I mean every last bit of it, and then spend the next hour or so puking everywhere. So now we had to separate them when it came time to feed them or else Tiger wouldn't be able to control herself.

"I plan on ordering pizza for dinner." I told him.

"Sounds good."

...

"Lily? Can I talk to you?" Aria asked.

"Of course."

We sat down on the couch.

"First of all, I just wanted to thank you. If it wasn't for you then I wouldn't have finished my first book and gotten so far."

"Of course you would, you're a smart and strong woman."

She smiled.

"I guess what I'm trying to say is that, I'm worried. I'm happy for you and Lucas and I wish you all the best. But what's going to happen when you guys move out?"

"Move out?" I questioned.

"Yeah, I mean I'm assuming you don't want to live with your sister for the rest of your life. Or if it's easier I guess I can find a small apartment in the city, you'd have to keep the animals though." She said, getting all emotional.

"Aria, honey, we aren't going anywhere!"

"You aren't?" She cried.

"No! Lucas and I have discussed this long before getting married! We are a family! This house, this house is big enough for all of us and then some! If for some reason we need a bigger house then we all will move into a bigger house, but no one is leaving anyone unless they want too!" I told her.

"But-"

"No, I refuse to leave you unless you want to be on your own."

"I want to stay with you. You are my sister and most importantly you are my best friend. I don't want to lose you."

"You are never going to lose me. I promise you that." She said.

"Good."

We hugged it out, she ended up getting tired and going to take a nap, and I decided to join her. She needed me, maybe more than I realized. I needed to be better at spending time with her and knowing what she was thinking and feeling.

Short update! But I want to get another one out today and that one should be longer! Thanks again for the views and all of the replies, they really do help! =D

"Tiger do you have to do that?" I scolded.

She continued to scratch at the garbage.

"Tiger!" I yelled.

Still nothing.

"Ti-"

Too late. She somehow knocked the entire garbage can over and everything that was in it spilled to the ground.

"Great. Just great!" I screamed.

Lucas walked in as I set the garbage upright and started picking up the trash.

"What happened?"

"What happened is that I asked you two days ago to change the garbage!" I screamed.

"I'll change it now, stop I'll do it."

I stopped and stood there.

"You're only doing it now because I'm upset."

"I said I'd change it and I am."

"I needed you to do that two days ago Lucas!" I scolded.

"I'm sorry."

"Just forget it."

I was moody and short this week with pretty much everything and I didn't know why. To top it off I was getting sick, there was probably a bug going around and I was lucky enough to catch it. Lucas was driving me insane as well and I wasn't even sure why, it was just little things here and there.

...

You really don't know when the last day is the last day. It starts just like any other day, you wake up and get prepared for the day like any other day. I decided a nice outside breakfast would be nice and refreshing.

"Hi Scruff!"

He was busy chasing his tail, somethings he's done since he was a puppy and he still hasn't managed to catch it. I wondered what he'd do if he ever did catch it or how he would even react.

"Good morning Scruff!" Aria greeted as she walked out.

He barked as she took a seat at the table.

"Eggs and toast! Smells yummy!"

"Thank you."

"Lucas said he'd be a little late."

"Of course, that's fine. Let's just eat and we can go about our day."

"Everything okay?"

"Yeah, I just can't kick this bug and I'm grouchy all the time. It'll pass."

She gave me this look, but I chose to ignore it.

After breakfast I decided to take Scruff on a walk because I needed air and he needed to go on a walk. We walked around the block and through the park and then back home. It was a nice day outside and the sun was shining without a cloud in sight. Just like every walk though Scruff got covered in mud and dirt so he needed a bath. Aria loved giving him his baths, it was really their thing to do.

But like I said, we never really know when the end is the end, not until it finally hits...

Scruff...

He was gone...

He was gone and I wasn't there for him. I was asleep and Lucas woke me up to tell me that he had passed away in the backyard. He wasn't alone, Aria was there with him when it happened but I still felt horrible. Scruff was there for me every time that I needed him and I felt like I let him down by missing this. I was taking it pretty rough, but Aria was taking it harder. She felt like it was her fault because at the time they were playing in the tunnel.

"I pushed him too hard." She cried.

"You had no way of knowing this was going to happen." Lucas told her.

"I could've let him relax."

"Honey, it would've happened no matter what." I told her.

"I-I have to go!"

She cried as she ran into the house.

He really was gone.

...

"Tiger, please stop crying. It's okay." I whispered.

I held her in my arms. She spent the last couple days pacing and crying for Scruff. It was hard for her to understand that he was gone, they were best friends even though sometimes they didn't show it. A lot of the time they slept together, but when we would catch it they would hurry to their own beds. It was the cutest thing ever, and I know that she will miss that the most. After Scruff's passing I decided it was time for a change. So I went to the hair cuttery and then I went to the mall and bought a new outfit.

"What's wrong Tiger?"

Something else Tiger has been doing was running from window to window each night around this time.

"What's out there, huh?"

I carried her to the window.

That's when I saw it.

"Lucas there's a cat wondering outside!"

I went outside and I was able to get it to come to me with some treats.

"There you go."

I picked him up carefully and carried him into the house.

"Lucas! Aria!"

I brought the cat into the living room.

"Look!"

We discovered that it was an adult male cat.

"Awww! Look!"

We decided as a family to adopt him. We couldn't just leave him to roam the streets and we thought that maybe it would ease Tiger's pain from missing Scruff. Who knows, maybe he could help us as well.

Welcome to the family, Tux (Short for Tuxedo, because he looked like he was wearing a tuxedo).

...

I bit my lip as I walked into the bedroom. Lucas was sitting on the bed reading a book, I quickly but quietly shut the door and walked over to the bed. I sat down and rubbed my legs as I took a deep breath. Lucas closed the book and looked at me sensing that something was about to happen.

"I know I've been moody lately." I started.

"It's fine babe, everyone goes through rough patches."

"No, I shouldn't of been so angry and mean."

He rubbed my back and kissed my forehead.

"I should get dinner going."

"Wait!"

He stopped standing up and sat back down. I took another deep breath as I turned to face him more.

"I have something else I need to tell you." I told him.

"Okay, I'm listening."

I nodded.

"Lucas..."

He looked at me.

"I'm pregnant."

Bum, bum, bummmmm. RIP Scruff </3 I was honestly so heart broken when it happened. I couldn't even plea with the reaper! Ugh! Hope you liked the twist at the end!

"Tux?!"

Tux walked over to me, only something was different.

"Why are you blue?! Lucas?!"

He ran into the room.

"What?! What is it?"

"Tux is blue!" I panicked.

"You should get him to the vet. I'll call them and let them know you are coming." He told me.

So I packed him into the carrier and we took a taxi to the nearest vet which was the next town over.

I waited in the waiting room with Tux, the vet was with another patient right now. I took a deep breath as I looked around the room. There was a little girl with her mom sitting on the floor with a puppy. I smiled as I watched the little girl squeal as the puppy licked her cheek. I was going to be a mother, the thought was both exciting and scary to think about. Lucas was excited when I told him the news which I was glad about. I was nervous that maybe he wasn't ready or that he didn't even want kids. It's something we never really discussed much before we got married. Guess we both figured it would happen if it happened and we would deal with it then. I secretly hoped for a little girl, it would be nice to play dolls with her and dress her up in little cute dresses. When she'd get older we would bake cookies together and draw pictures on a Sunday afternoon.

"Tux?"

I snapped myself out of my day dream as Tux and I headed back into the exam room.

It turns our that he had gotten into something outside and he just had an infection. We could choose the uncomfortable treatment, which would be the cone so that he would leave it alone or we could go the more expensive route and just clear it up with some medication. I chose the more expensive route because I didn't want him to have to deal with a cone. I packed him back up after she gave him the medication and we headed home.

...

I knocked on the office door.

"Can I come in?" I asked Aria.

She was working on something her editor sent her.

"Of course." She said stopping typing.

I walked in and stood by the computer.

"So I have some news to share." I told her.

"Okay, what's up?"

"Well, I'll just jump right to it and tell you that you are about to become an aunt."

"WHAT?!" She screamed.

She jumped up and attacked me with a hug and jumped up and down a little bit.

"I'm so excited!"

"Honestly, I am too!"

"How is Lucas taking it?"

"He seems happy!"

"This is great!"

I was glad that she was so excited, she was going to be a great aunt and now she got her wish about reading her children's book to him or her.

...

Tux and Tiger also became best buds real quick. Aria and I like to joke that they were boyfriend and girlfriend because they were always together.

Tiger definitely could tell that something was different about me. Especially when I began to show a little more. She would sleep almost directly on top of my stomach at night almost as if she was protecting the baby.

I couldn't wait to find out what the baby was going to be! I didn't care really either way as long as it was healthy.

So what do you guys think it'll be? A boy or a girl?

I think my favorite part of being pregnant is the sudden burst of energy I have been having.

"I'm doing laundry! Make sure it's all in the laundry room soon please!"

I waddled up the stairs with the laundry basket of clothes. I was only in my first trimester but I was showing already! I looked like a whale even though Lucas objected and said that I looked beautiful. He was required to say that though as long as he wanted to keep staying in the bed at night. I threatened to make him sleep in the bathtub one night because he was being annoying.

I whistled as I walked back downstairs and went to make lunch.

"You're making sure to rest right?" Lucas asked walking in from outside.

"Of course I am." I told him.

"Good." He said kissing my cheek and walking upstairs.

I hummed a song as I made grilled cheese sandwiches for everyone and some for leftovers as well.

"Tiger! Stop that!"

She meowed as she ran away from the trash can. That darn cat and her trash can.

...

"Thank you, that feels wonderful."

My back and shoulders have been killing me lately and very few things have helped ease the pain.

"I told you, whatever you need I am there for you."

"Thank you babe."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"It's time!" I screamed.

"WHAT?!" Lucas snapped.

"For my show!"

He groaned.

I plopped onto the couch with my second helping of food, another hobby of mine was eating but I couldn't stop! I was hungry all the time! Poor Lucas having to get up in the middle of the night to make me whatever craving I was having that day. He walked over with a glass of juice and set it down next to me as I sang along to the theme song of my soap opera I had gotten into.

"Don't believe his lies Janet, he will just leave you." I said to the TV.

"I cannot believe you like watching that stuff."

"See! I told her, he would leave and guess what he did?"

"Left?"

"Exactly. She should listen to me more often!" I told him.

"I know dear."

...

"I'm going to run some errands, Lucas is downstairs." Aria told me.

"I'm fine!" I told her.

I was upstairs practicing piano. I was working on a lullaby for the baby and it was coming along nicely. I marked a few notes more and tried to see how they sounded. I liked to think the it calmed the baby when I played and hoped that it wasn't to loud for him or her. The books I read on pregnancy though say that it should be fine and they seemed to encourage music while the baby was still in the womb.

"I like that! That sound- OW!"

I hissed as a sharp pain hit me right in the stomach. I took a deep breath and placed a hand on my stomach and waited for the pain to subside. It seemed to stop so I brushed it off as just growing pains. I continued to work on the lullaby only until a second sharp pain came, only this time it was much more painful and stronger.

"LUCAS!" I screamed.

I cried out in pain and dropped my pencil and paper as Lucas came running in.

"What's wrong?!"

"Somethings wrong! It hurts!" I cried.

"Okay, okay don't panic. Here, let me help you stand up."

"I can't!"

"Yes you can, here."

He helped me stand up.

"Where are we going?"

"To the hospital."

So there we sat in the doctors office. They did an exam and a scan of the baby and we were awaiting the results. I haven't had anymore pain since we left the house but I knew something was wrong. I felt it in my gut and I feared the worst. I looked around the office, there were lots of books on the bookshelves and plenty of degrees hanging on the wall. There were also posters of what was happening inside your stomach as the baby grew. I placed a hand on my stomach as Lucas grabbed my hand and tried to comfort me. He must have been just as scared as I was but I knew he was playing the tough guy act, but I could see right through it.

"It's going to be okay." He said just before the doctor came back in.

Dr. Harper was my doctor throughout the pregnancy and she was really nice.

"Well, I have the results of the scan." She said sitting down.

"Okay, what is it? Is the baby okay?" I asked.

Lucas squeezed my hand.

"Yes, it appears that everything is fine. You were right, it was growing pains from your stomach expanding."

"Is that normal?" Lucas asked.

"Quite normal for your wife's pregnancy because there seems to be something else."

"What?" I asked.

"Well, your stomach is expanding so quickly because it's adjusting to having two babies inside."

My eyes widened.

"Two babies?" Lucas questioned.

"Yes, congratulations. It's twins!"

...

"Twins."

That was all we could repeat the entire way home. Not one baby, but two babies! We decided to keep it a surprise for the sexes of the babies. We got home and Lucas made me relax on the couch. What I didn't know was that him and Aria were putting a little surprise for me together upstairs.

Their own little nursery!

"I love it!"

"We're glad that you do!" Aria squealed.

So I was having twins! I was now in my second trimester and to say that I looked like an even bigger whale was an understatement, don't tell Lucas I said that though he would have a fit.

Okay okay! I promise that this is the last update for today! I've been in a sims mood all day and I have to keep up with where I am in the game! Hope you enjoy the little twist! =D

"I'm a cow."

"You are not a cow."

"You have to say that, you're my husband." I groaned.

"Well to me you and your belly are beautiful and amazing."

I didn't know how I was going to get any bigger. I was only in my second trimester and I had one more to go! I could no longer get up from bed or off a couch on my own anymore. It was humiliating needing help from someone else. Don't even get me started on wearing shoes because I forgot that I even had feet at this point. I was also constantly eating and when I wasn't eating I was going to the bathroom, and when I wasn't going to the bathroom I was eating. The cycle just repeats itself over and over and over again.

"These children need to come out." I said.

"No, they need to stay in."

"I'm done, seriously I'm finished. Let's go to the hospital."

Lucas giggled at me.

"You think this is funny only because you aren't the one going through it!" I argued.

"They have to stay in there as long as possible so their aunt can spoil the crap out of them!" Aria gushed.

I death glared her.

As much as I felt like a cow or no mater how much my back hurt I was excited. I liked standing in the nursery and imagining the babies in their little bassinets and what they would be dressed in. I might change the nursery once they are born to better fit what sex they are. I often caught Lucas standing in the nursery as well doing the same exact thing, it melted my heart.

He really was excited as well.

...

"Tux, I'm not giving you food." I told him.

Meow!

"No!"

Meow!

"Tux."

Meow!

He literally had this thing where he had to be underneath the table when we ate. Then he would plop down on his butt and watch us through the table since it was a glass top. It was both cute and creepy at the same time.

"Third trimester!" Lucas said walking over to me.

"I know, they will be here sooner then we think." I said.

I was becoming more nervous as the days went by. At this point I wasn't sure if we were even ready and I wanted to hold them in as long as I could. I even thought about taping my knees shut, that would work right? I was worried that I wasn't going to be a good enough mother to them. How were we going to take care of two babies at once?

"Stop worrying, everything will be fine." Lucas said.

He always knew when I was worrying even when I never told him.

"Promise?"

"Of course."

I mean, look at me...

I was a boat at this point!

These kids could come any day now... Here's to hoping we were ready!

The babies are almost here!!! =D

"I've accepted the fact that they are never coming out." I told Lucas.

He giggled.

"They will come out."

"I don't think so."

Lucas believed that the babies would come out but I was convinced that they were going to live in me forever. Maybe I'd become famous and all the newspapers would write about me. Then we would move into this huge mansion and be famous.

Probably wouldn't happen though.

I found myself having to get up and move more often. If I sat down long enough the twins would try to beat the insides out of me and I would like my insides to stay that way, inside. So I chose to do chores like laundry that was endless and made sure that we had enough food for the week.

"Lily?"

I looked over to Aria who had just walked in the room.

"What's up?" I asked.

She walked over to me and sat down.

"Sooo, um. I caught Tiger and Tux in the bathroom earlier this week."

"Yeah??"

"Well, they were kind of... mating? I guess would be the word?"

"Oh no..."

"I think Tiger may be pregnant."

I groaned.

If Tiger was pregnant that would mean that we would have the twins plus a litter of kittens. Life just keeps getting more interesting as we went on.

...

"OW!" I screamed.

I was going to sit down for some cereal when a sharp pain hit me followed by a gush of water.

"Oh no." I gasped.

I took a deep breath before going to find Lucas.

"Lucas?!"

"Yeah?"

I walked into the kitchen.

"Lucas, I think it's  time!" I gasped.

"Time?!"

"For the babies!"

It was a rough few hours but after all the pain was over we welcomed a baby girl and a baby boy!

Meet Sarah!

Meet Simon!

They were absolutely perfect. From what I could tell so far Simon shares his father's pale skin tone, but that could get darker as he gets older. Sarah had my skin tone though so she was a little darker. Of course Aria didn't waste time helping out with the babies, she was excited for them the moment I told her I was pregnant.

My angels were here

Welcome Simon and Sarah! Possible kittens on the way as well? Welp!
