With the pregnancy, I realised how you good you are at making time seem to stretch to make it more realistic, when it's not so long in the game.

Your story is still refreshing and great. With twins and possibly kittens, your sims will have their next days/months busy.

Awww thank you so much!! I do try to make it seem longer cause I swear while you're playing if you so much as blink the sims have the baby already haha! That's the problem I'm having with the babies right now, they're close to aging already in game and I don't want to just skip over the baby stage!

Thank you so much it means a lot that you think that! I'm glad you are enjoying the story and thank you for taking the time to read it =D

"I'm heading out now!"

I grabbed Tiger's carrier and headed to the city. We decided it would be a good idea to make a vet appointment for Tiger just to make sure we weren't wrong about her being pregnant.

"I'm here with Tiger." I told the receptionist.

"Okay, I will check you in."

I smiled and went into the waiting room. I let Tiger out because they offer toys and food for waiting customers, well their pets of course.

The vet came out into the lobby to let us know that she was ready for us.

"She thinks that she's cute." I joked.

"She is very cute."

...

"So, I hear you are in fact pregnant." Aria said to Tiger.

Meow!

"What do you have to say for yourself?"

Meow!

"Uh huh."

Meow!

I laughed as I sat on the couch.

"How many kittens is she going to have?"

"Their ultrasound machine was down so she was unable to tell me that."

"What are we going to do if she has like eight kittens?"

"Well, we could keep one or two max but the rest we should put up for adoption."

"Yeah, because ten cats is a little much."

"Just a little."

I propped my feet up on the table but as soon as I did that Simon started crying. I groaned.

"I got him." Aria said putting Tiger down.

"You're a life saver."

"Just get some rest mama."

"Thank you."

...

"I think something is wrong with Simon." I said.

"Why do you say that?" Lucas asked.

"Look at his color. He's really pale and I thought he took after you but you aren't as pale as he is." I said.

"Well, I think I was pale as a baby."

"You're just saying that to make me feel better."

"No, really. I was, and babe he's fine and healthy."

"I just hope I didn't do anything."

"You did nothing to harm either of our babies."

He kissed me on the forehead.

I hope that he was right...

"I'm going to go start dinner, look after them?" I asked.

"Of course."

I stood in the doorway for a moment watching Lucas with our children and my heart melted. He was so amazing with them. He never once complained when he had to help me at the wee hours of the morning or when I got so overwhelmed that I sat on the floor crying. Those moments did happen, more often then I would like to admit. Raising twins was hard even with the amazing support and help from Lucas and Aria. They made it easier but I didn't want to feel like I always had to depend on them for help.

Before we knew it Tiger was ready to give birth. It was scary because we didn't know how many kittens she was going to have. Turns out that she only had one which was weird to all of us because we never heard of a cat only having one kitten.

"What should we name the little guy?"

"Hmmmmm."

We sat an thought for a moment.

"Oh my god I have it."

"What?"

"Tony."

"Tony?"

"Yeah, because Tiger is his mom."

Lucas and I looked at each other.

"Tony the Tiger?"

Lucas and I laughed at the same time.

So welcome to the world Tony!

Maybe life wouldn't be so hectic after all!

I know! It's been a few day's but haven't had the time to sit down and write a chapter! But it's here now! Welcome Tony! Also, I made a goof and forgot to write in that Lily and Lucas are now adults! Whoops...

"Your mother is silly." Lucas cooed to Simon.

"I heard that!" I yelled from the laundry room.

"Yes she is! There is nothing wrong with you!"

"I cannot believe that I'm an adult." I said.

Aria and I were on the couch in the living room watching TV.

"Old lady!"

"Shut up! Not too much longer until you are in the same exact boat!"

She groaned.

"Yeah, not so funny now is it?"

"When did we get old?"

"I don't know, but I'm not ready."

It's hard to explain, but now that I'm a mom I felt like time was on full speed with no stop in sight. Was this how mom felt? I don't know if I could ever have enough time with my kids.

"You are going to wake your brother little one, shhhh."

I rocked Sarah as I glanced over to Simon who was still fast asleep in his bassinet.

"You and your brother are going to have birthday soon!"

She looked up at me.

"Yeah!"

They were going to be toddlers in just a few days and I couldn't believe it. I was actually more excited then sad believe it or not. I would miss them as babies but at least now they could take care of themselves a little bit. I put Sarah back in her bassinet and went to work on some laundry. Today was also an exciting day as well because our little Tony grew up! We were going to have to get a collar or something to be able to tell the difference between him and Tux.

...

Today was the twins' birthday!

Look at them! We have some pretty beautiful children!

"Hey Aria?"

"Yeah?"

"Can you go check on the twins? Sarah wanted a book read to her earlier!"

"Yeah!"

"Thanks!"

I continued to make their lunch as she went up and read to Sarah.

...

"Simon! NO!"

I walked into the upstairs bathroom and found him arm deep into the toilet.

"Simon." I groaned.

I quickly undressed him as Sarah danced around in the bathroom. I swear I have to give this kid five baths in a day.

"Toilet again?" Lucas asked walking in.

"Yes! No matter how we try to teach him not to make a mess he still does it!"

I was frustrated, but I was trying to be patient with him because he was just a toddler.

"We just have to keep trying."

"I know."

After the surprise bath it was time for their dinner.

"After dinner they can play for a little."

Aria ruffled Simon's hair and he giggled.

"I hear you got into the toilet again!" Aria said to him.

He babbled something to her.

I smiled because even though he was our little trouble maker he still was quite adorable.

"He's too cute for his own good." I giggled.

At least my worries of something wrong with him were proven wrong and his skin did darken a bit once he aged up. It just worried me how pale he was from birth. The twins finished eating and we released the beasts to go play before bedtime. Also, the challenge of potty training has begun!

"WEEEE!"

"God I hope she pukes on you." Aria told me.

"She'd get you too probably."

I kept throwing her up into the air and she would squeal every time I would do it.

But our fun had to end because it was mommy and daddy time and that meant that the twins' bedtime was now here. Lucas and I started this routine where we would each be here for bed time and we would take turns tucking in each kid before switching and doing the same to the other. It was important for them to know we both loved them and I felt like that was a step in the right direction.

They are so cute!!! Oh my goodness! I don't know if they were easier to take care of as babies or now that they are mobile! It's a challenge for sure! How do people do the 100 baby challenges?! Haha!

"Hi Simon!"

He waddled up to me and flung his arms up for me to pick him up.

"Come here."

I picked him up and snuggled him.

"Stay this little forever please."

He babbled.

Tiger had a birthday recently, she was now an elder. Her time was getting short.

Simon has been acting out a lot. I don't know why because we gave him plenty of attention.

"Simon, please eat."

He slammed his hands on his high chair.

"Simon! Eat your food!"

He grumbled and tried to throw the food down.

"Do not throw the food."

He looked at me.

"Simon." I warned.

He chose not to throw the food and ate it instead.

...

"Should we move the twins' bedroom downstairs?" I asked Lucas.

"Why would we do that?"

"Because, I'm worried that they're going to miss a step and fall down them.

I watched as Sarah crawled backwards down the stairs instead of sliding down on her butt which I saw as a safer choice.

"I think they're fine."

I bit my lip.

"I'm taking Tiger to her appointment." Lucas said kissing me on the forehead.

"Okay, let us know how it goes."

Tiger hadn't been feeling well and I wasn't sure if that was just from the old age or if there was something more serious wrong with her.

"I'm glad we have the money to see if she is okay." Aria said.

"Me too."

I wouldn't consider ourselves rich, but we were doing perfectly fine so far.

...

CRASH!

I groaned.

"Simon." Aria and I both said.

We both walked into the room where the noise came from. Sure enough there stood Simon in a pile of mess in the bathroom floor.

"There has to be something we can do." I sighed.

"He'll grow out of it." Lucas assured me.

I really hoped so.

I walked into the dining room to check on Sarah who was eating her peas.

"Hello my little pea monster!"

She loved her peas.

She squealed and shoved some in her mouth.

Not a huge update, but wanted to get something out =]

Also, here is a bonus/funny picture of the glitch I experienced with Lucas playing with Simon!

A couple months have passed and Aria was now an adult!

We were all getting old together!

"Now I can make fun of you for being old." I told her.

She glared at me.

"Hey! You called me old when I had my birthday!" I laughed.

I plopped Sarah into her high chair and handed her her cup with apple juice in it.

"I love my kids, but I will be a little bit happy once they are children." I said to Aria plopping down onto the couch.

"Tired?"

"I am very tired, very tired all of the time."

She rested her head on my shoulder.

"I will miss them being toddlers, don't get me wrong. I'm just tired and ready for the next chapter."

"I'm sure they are going to be just as adorable as children though."

I smiled.

...

"MAMA!!!"

I was attempting to sleep but Simon was in the room screaming his head off for me.

"Lucas?" I called out.

But he didn't hear me. So I got up and got dressed. I picked Simon up and carried him to his high chair and gave him a snack. He ate slowly as tears kept streaming from his eyes.

"Don't cry baby." I smoothed his hair back.

"Bad dream." He babbled.

"Awww, finish eating and mama will take you upstairs for a nap."

He sniffled and shoved another handful of crackers in his mouth. Once he was finished it was upstairs and into bed for him.

I also forgot to mention that we were doing a lot of redecorating the upstairs in preparation for the twins' birthdays coming up.

The cats now have their own space! I was getting sick of tripping over their food dishes and now they have their own space for play time.

I forgot to get pictures but the office is now in my old room and the kids' future play room is where the office used to be. That way their room will basically just be their beds and maybe a set of desks for them to do their homework on. It's hard to believe that they will be old enough to even have homework to worry about. I was excited more than sad honestly! It was a new adventure!

Another big accomplishment was we were officially done with potty training!! The kids could now use their potties by themselves without anyone worrying about bed wetting!

"Simon, easy."

I watched as he walked over to Tiger.

"Cat!"

"Yes, she is a cat."

"You have to be easy with her though, she's old."

Meow!

"I'm sorry, I mean she's not old."

I laughed as I walked away.

"WEEE!!!" Sarah squealed.

I walked into the dining room where Aria was playing with Sarah.

"Higher!"

Aria laughed and stood up and put her on her back causing Sarah to squeal even more.

She loved her Aunt Aria.

...

"The kids fell asleep together on the couch." Lucas said walking into the kitchen.

"That is adorable."

He smiled and kissed me.

"You didn't wake them did you?"

"No, I let them sleep."

"Good."

Their birthdays would be soon, Lucas was more sad then I was about them being children. I was sad but more excited. Bring it on!

I'm ready for them to be children. For some reason I've struggled with getting their needs met because they would be asking all three of the adults for something which meant everyone was trying to take care of them and it was hectic!! Come on childhood! Hope you guys enjoyed =]

Just got caught up!  Love this story sooo much!  I keep meaning to get to a lot of the stories on the Misc. board, but timing keeps being off.  Ally, really loving this one.  The way you tell about their lives is just so sweet!  Can't wait to see the twins as children!

"Happy Birthday dear Simon! Happy birthday to you!!" We all sang.

Lucas walked Simon over to his chocolate cake that his Aunt Aria made for him and helped him blow out the candles.

"YAY!"

It was now Sarah's turn.

"Happy birthday dear Sarah! Happy birthday to you!!"

I walked her over to her cake and helped her blow out the candles as well.

And just like that, our little girl and little boy were not so little anymore!

...

"First day of school tomorrow." Lucas said.

"Yeah." Sarah said.

"Are you excited?"

"More nervous."

"Everything will be fine princess, the first few days will be rocky but you'll get the hang of it."

"But what if I don't?"

"You will, and you will have Simon there with you."

"I guess."

"Daddy says you are nervous about school?"

"Yeah, just a little."

"You will make friends and we are here to help you whenever you need it."

"Thank you for buying me this doll house set."

"You're welcome."

The first day of school came and went without a hitch and sure enough Sarah had a wonderful day. She came home so excited to tell me all about her day and the few friends that she had made. Simon also had a good first day but he seemed a little quiet when he came home. I knocked on the door to their room and walked in and he was sitting on his bed just sitting there.

"Hi Simon." I said.

"Hi mom."

I sat down on the bed next to him.

"You sure your day was fine?" I asked.

"Yeah, it was okay."

I looked at him.

"You can tell me if something is bothering you, you know that right?"

He nodded.

I smiled and and ruffled his hair.

"Someone picked on me today." He finally said.

"Yeah? About what?"

"My hair, they said I looked like a girl."

"I can cut it for you if you don't like it."

"I like my hair."

"Then you keep your hair the way you want it, not how everyone else wants your hair to be."

"But they will keep going."

"Then you find a way to stand up to them."

"I'll try."

I kissed his forehead and walked out of the room.

...

Aria was back to writing. She has now sold three books total and was working on her fourth book. She was excited because her editor told her that she was ready to try screen plays if she really wanted too.

"I could write screen plays! Screen plays!"

I laughed at her excitement.

"Oh gosh what would I even right about?!"

"I have no idea!"

She burst with happiness as she ran back upstairs.

Sarah walked into the room from the bathroom holding the dirty clothes bag.

"What are you doing?"

"Laundry."

"You don't have to do that."

"I know! But I wanted to help." She smiled.

"Well thank you very much!"

"You're welcome."

Tiger was sick again. It seemed like every other day that she was sick.

The vet couldn't seem to figure out just why she was getting the red nose, or she even turned blue every once in a while. But we loved her so we wanted to make sure she was healthy and as comfortable as she could be with this stage of her life. She wouldn't be with us much longer and explaining that to the kids was going to be hard. Especially to Sarah because they seemed to have the biggest bond.

...

"SIMON!" Sarah screamed.

I walked into the play room.

"What is going on?"

"He almost ruined my drawing!"

"Simon, please be careful."

"I didn't even do anything."

"Guys come on, we need to get along together. You're brother and sister!"

"Sorry mom." They both said.

After that they hardly ever fought and if they did it was playful. But I'm sure that it would change as they got older.

Right now I was going to enjoy them as children, because my children were beautiful.

Okay, I love how Simon looks but holy cow!! Look how cute Sarah is! I was so excited to pick her outfits and match them with the little bow in her hair! =D Hope you guys enjoyed the update!

"We're home!"

"Welcome home!"

Sarah and Simon both let their book bags fall to the ground.

"Wait a minute, do you have homework?" I asked.

"Moooom." Sarah groaned.

"Can't we just watch some TV first?!" Simon whined.

"You know the rules, homework first and then TV."

They both groaned and picked their backpacks back up and headed upstairs.

"Love you." I called after them.

"I don't feel well." Simon whined when he came downstairs the next morning.

The first thing I did was feel his forehead.

"Oh my, you're burning up!"

Sarah came down with her backpack and I looked at the time, the bus would be here in about ten minutes.

"I'm sorry Simon, I think it's best you stay home today." I said brushing the hair from his face.

"Okay." He said.

I knew he didn't feel well when he didn't fight to go to school. He had really started to enjoy school even though the bullies were still at large.

"Go lay back down and I will make you some soup."

He nodded while he walked back upstairs, Tiger and Tony following behind him.

...

"We're home." I said carrying Tux back into the house.

"Did the vet say why he was drooling the green stuff and puking?" Aria asked.

"Stomach virus."

"Ah okay."

I released Tux and he sprinted upstairs scared that if he stayed downstairs much longer that I would take him back to the vet.

"Where are the kids?" I asked.

"Upstairs, they did their homework and now I think they are drawing again."

"Those walls are going to be full of their drawings, I can't wait."

Aria has now published four books, and people around town were starting to recognize. She was getting letters in the mail stating that they loved her books and couldn't wait to read whatever she wrote next! I was so proud of her and I could tell that she was proud of herself.

"Sarah! Come in! Time for dinner!"

"Okay mom!"

She was outside playing on the monkey bars that we had in the backyard. We still needed to get rid of Scruff's play stuff but for now it would stay. Who knows, we may end up with another dog at some point.

"MOM!!!" Simon screamed.

I dropped what I was doing and ran outside.

"Simon?!"

He was standing by the yard and he had his mouth covered with his hands and he was crying.

"What is it?!"

It was only then when he pointed that I realized what was going on.

"Tiger." I whispered.

I walked over to Simon and pulled him in my arms as he cried. The others heard us and came outside only to discover what had happened. We lost our Tiger, and we knew it was coming but we wouldn't ever be ready.

...

"Can we get another cat?" Sarah asked.

She was taking Tiger's death pretty hard because they were both buddies.

"I don't know honey."

"What about a dog?" Simon asked.

"We will talk about getting another animal, but we do have two others." Lucas told them.

We finished eating and Lucas and I worked on getting the dishes washed.

"Simon, you still have chores to do." Lucas told him.

"I know." He groaned.

"Mama, can I use your favorite pen for my homework?" Sarah asked.

"As long as it gets back to me, yes." I told her.

She pranced upstairs to work on some extra credit.

"Another cat or dog huh?" Lucas said once we were alone again.

"I don't know if we can handle it." I told him.

"Well, not to be horribly morbid but Tux won't be with us too much longer here soon."

I sighed.

"Yeah, I guess."

"It's something to think about, it may be fun to have another dog."

I smiled and he gave me a small kiss before continuing drying the dishes that I passed him.

RIP Tiger </3 I really hate when animals die in real life, but it's just as heart breaking here too. Sorry it's been a little while! Got a little busy!

Awww, RIP Tiger!  Man, I haven't lost an animal in Sims 4 yet.  I had started experimenting with Cats & Dogs when it came out, but there were a few things that happened that frustrated me (like I wanted to breed two dogs together, but they wouldn't) so I stopped playing with animals for a bit to focus on a Townie Dynasty.  But I'm finally playing with cats & dogs again and I'm terrified when it's the animals time :(

"Sarah, honey it's been a month." I said.

"I know." She sighed.

"It'll be okay, she's not in pain anymore."

I hugged her tightly.

"Can I stay home from school today?" She asked.

I thought it over for a moment.

"Sure, just this once though."

Simon came downstairs.

"Come on Sarah!"

"She's taking a sick day, it's just you today."

"Can I stay home?!" He asked.

"Negative, you are not sick."

"She isn't either!"

"Not physically no, but she is taking a mental day."

"Moooom."

"Simon." I warned.

He groaned and ran out the door to catch the bus.

...

"Sarah, Simon will be home soon and he is bringing your homework home."

"I don't feel like doing homework."

"Sorry Sarah, you got to stay home and you've played games all day. You still have to stay on top of your school work."

"Five more minutes?"

"Fine. Five more minutes but that is it."

"We have a project to do!" Simon said as I walked downstairs.

"What kind?"

"Well, I have to build a castle! It's going to be so cool! The school even sends home the materials you will need!"

"That's awesome!"

"Sarah has to make a model for the solar system."

Sarah walked down just as he was finished.

"Sarah and Simon how about you go work outside in the yard. Simon make sure you let Sarah know what is going on please. After that I want you both to start on your normal homework and after that you can do whatever you want."

"Yes mom."

A Few Months Later

"Look at all these pictures!" I said.

"I know! We're going to need another wall here soon!" Sarah giggled.

"They look amazing!" I said kissing her forehead.

"Want to play dolls mommy?"

"Of course!"

Meanwhile Lucas was helping Simon with his homework.

"I don't understand why I have to learn this."

"Because your teacher thinks that it is important." Lucas told him.

"But how do they know I will use it?"

"Simon, just do the work. They wouldn't give it to you if they don't think it's necessary."

"Yes sir."

"Do you think we will get another pet Aunt Aria?" Sarah asked.

"I don't know yet sweetheart."

"A dog could be fun." She hinted.

"Yeah, it could be."

Sarah tried giving her best puppy eyes and Aria giggled.

"I will ask your mother again." She said.

Aria gave Sarah a kiss on the cheek.

Like we predicted Tux became an elder. Maybe it was time to think of another animal for the kids, and maybe for the adults as well. We would see though, for now I am going to go play dolls with my family.

Eeeeep. Aging up for the twins is coming up fast! Along with Lily and Lucas! I'm not ready! ALSO! Thank you so much! Over 1,000 views! That is amazing =] I hope I am doing a good job at spacing the fast aging of everyone well!

"Mom! Today this kid decided to flush his hat down the toilet!" Simon said.

"Why did he do that?"

"I don't know, but the teacher was really mad."

"You should have seen her face!" Sarah said laughing.

"Did the kid get into trouble?"

"Oh yeah! His mom had to come down and everything!"

"You better not get any ideas." I warned.

"Don't worry, I'm not that stupid." Simon said.

The twins walked into the living room and started working on their homework.

"The kids told me that they want a hamburger cake." I told Aria.

"I can do that." She said.

"They saw it on some kids TV show the other day."

Aria was pretty good at making birthday cakes. She was full of all sorts of talent.

"I can't believe they are going to be teenagers." Aria said.

"I know, it's crazy."

"Time flies."

"Do you ever think about having kids?" I asked her.

"Honestly? I'm pretty content with how things are now. I like being the cool aunt, and I haven't really thought about it. I want to do great things as a writer."

"Nothing wrong with that."

...

"Tony!"

He ignored me and continued to chase Tux all the way upstairs. I ran after them and he had now chased poor Tux up into the cat tree.

"Tony you stop that right now! "

I helped Tux down because it's gotten harder for him to jump up and down from things.

"He is old! He is also your father technically."

Tony meowed at me as Tux walked out of the room.

"Behave."

What I didn't know though, was that it was the last time that I would hold Tux because I heard a scream from downstairs.

"What happened?!" I cried out.

"I don't know! he just collapsed!"

Tux was gone.

I hugged the twins as they cried and I fought to hold back my own tears. I had a thing about crying in front of them, I wanted them to know that I was strong. I had to be strong for them.

"Come on, let's go get something to eat."

I led them into the kitchen and let them pick their snack. They stayed home from school the next day which worked because it happened to also be their birthday.

Bring on the teenage years!

It's not the best picture of Simon, but they were getting grumpy about me wanting a perfect picture.

"Okay fine, you guys are done. Thank you."

They mumbled something and went inside.

"Think about how you want your rooms!" I called after them.

Now that they were teenagers they would get their own room. It's the reason I loved that our house was a decent size. I also forgot to mention that Lucas and I both had birthdays as well, but I forgot to have Aria take a picture of us. It was weird to think that we were elders now and soon we would leave the world. It made me anxious to think about because I was no where ready to leave my family behind.

I had to take Tony to the vet for a check up, and I ended up making a friend with a pup at the vets office. Maybe it was time for another animal, but I would have to think it over.

Here's to seeing where life takes us.

I am so not ready for Lucas and Lily to die! I mean I have ideas for how to carry on the story afterwards, and I may start a new story so this one doesn't have a million and one chapters. What do you guys think? Start a new story with the same characters after Lily and Lucas pass? Or maybe wait til Aria passes and the twins are young adults? I would love to hear your thoughts! =D
