Hi I'm looking for any advice or suggestions for a pc build to play sims 4. However,  I am also open to prebuilts. My preferred budget is $800. Thank you!

All this stuff will eventually be on sale either at Newegg or Tiger Direct.  Buy it over a few months and the price will be even lower. Personally, I like Intel, MSI, and EVGA and have never had a problem with them, but your millage may vary.

I updated the memory.  I had 240 pin, and the motherboard is 288pin.

Also check pc part picker for compatibilities and other system builds. I wouldn't lean too heavy on it, I always double check the main parts separately, but its good for RAM, hard drives, cases, and other parts compatibilies. Nothing sucks more when you get everything and your case only has usb2 slots or doesn't fit mother board.
