I got it to work.  I was getting a weird bug last night where it was saying that my Childe was in my employ, and I had to release him from his position before we got married.

I restarted and it cleared itself up.

Just to clear a few things up the word 'child' here means vampire offspring. Cool your jets peeps, it's all good.  ;)
