Sims can't interact with other sims

It seems like everyday I have a new problem with my game lol.  Yesterday, I was playing just fine, and quit the game after saving so I could go out with my mom.  When I came back, I went to play sims 4 again & I was confused to see that my sims wouldn't interact with the other sims in the household.  I tried everything the internet said: repairing the game, resetting sims4 folder, testing mods to see if it was them, deleting & downloading sims again, restarting computer.  This is very frustrating.

It's been suggested to remove the mods folder to the desktop and try the game again. If you find that your game works fine with having the mods removed you will need to go through the mods in the folder to find out which aren't working anymore.
