Yeah, it's quite different to TS3 and I think a lot of people get confused as to how it all works but once you 'get' that only one lot is ever loaded and active at a time it all begins to make sense.  :)

I do know a lot more about TS4, in general, than TS3 because I've played it for a lot longer and for almost 6,000 hours now :-[...lol

Wo-ow, @coolsim9999999 :o I'm not even halfway there! Well...technically perhaps, because it doesn't count offline hours played, right?

By the way, you can't be sure that Sims using vampire hairstyles are in fact vampires. Randomly generated Sims pick any and all styles and plenty vampires wear regular clothes, too :)

I was confused about hair and clothes styles for vampires.  I thought that they could only have the clothes and hairstyles, which came with that game pack.

I don't think offline hours count, but almost 3,000 hours, is also impressive!  I can't believe how much Simming I do...lol.  It's really fun, though :).

Also there are only fire alarms in the game, not alarm systems for break-ins etc. Two fire alarms one that is small, round and looks like a smoke alarm (Alertz Smoke Alarm), the other one is the larger, red and has auto sprinklers that pop down from the ceiling and assist to douse the fire (Fire Prevention System Utility Panel).

OMG! I have been thinking it does an amazing job of keeping out burglars for like 3 years now...

Heh, there are no such thing as burglars in The Sims 4 :) Though if you have a Sim over with the kleptomaniac trait, I think smaller items can "disappear". When I played such a Sim, they started to feel bad and returned the stolen items, though.

I know surprised me, was my sims were sleeping, time went from fast to normal and no one was awake.  I looked towards the front door and a vampire sim was doing the stalking thing.  My sim woke up and just stood there.  I moused over the queue and it said, "Be drank from". I couldn't ex it out so I just watched as the vampire snuck into the bedroom, had his "snack" and left. Of course, my, sim fell over and slept on the floor for a few minutes, woke up and went back to bed. Funniest thing I have seen. Only happened the one time, but I love those vampires.
Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?

The vamp break-ins are one of my favorite features of the Vampire Game Pack, just wish they would happen more often!

See, that put a big grin on my face ;D It's good that we are some who love the vamps, after all. And I agree with you. It would be nice with an 'enable/disable' option for all things vampiric in the game. That way everybody could have what they want. I played a Sim once (can't remember which one, but it wasn't Don) who was going steady with Caleb and then one night, he broke in and drank from him/her. That was very daring of him, but my Sim didn't mind and it didn't hurt their relationship at all. Charming 8)

I always marry my vamps to humans so they have a food source 24/7, their spouses never seem to mind being forcibly drunk from. lol  8) To bad if they did anyway, they have no say! mwhahaha

Hold on a sec. Your vampires need to use the "Compel" interaction even with their spouses?
Or is that only because you're not satisfied with that weak "Okay, but only my wrist" response? Lol.

So true! My usual play style when I play my favorite couple, is in fact also to have Don remain human - then Caleb cooks Don's food while, in return, Don donates his plasma to Caleb. Perfect symbiosis 8) Plus it makes for some sweet screenshots and storytelling moments :P

@oshizu Really, dining on a wrist is so...neutral and unfulfilling. The neck is much more intimate and keeps the belly full for longer ;D

Of course the neck is the only option! Bah humbug, who wants to sip delicately from the wrist when there is 'such a lovely neck' to feast from!  8) Heh, I have my vamp cook all the 'human' meals too Nindigo.

But no, they could drink from their spouses wrist as their spouse is always willing but... you know... #vampthings oshizu  :P

I was just pulling your legs, Playalot and Nindigo.
To be honest, I worry some that the vampires will get toned down even more.
I really hate what happened with the aliens when Get to Work was released. Because of the many complaints about alien abductions, my male sims very rarely get pregnant by abduction.
And I loved that female aliens could impregnate male sims but, alas, that the devs backpedaled on that one and later declared that a mistake. Darn it!

Anyway, yay for vampires! May they stay forever wild (unless I'm on a non-vampire household trying to run a restaurant for a challenge. Then, I want them not to break in, lol).

I agree oshizu, I really hope vamps don't get tuned down. It would be terrible. I should think they won't as after all it is a Game Pack absolutely dedicated to Vampires whereas in Get To Work Aliens were just a smallish part of a pack focusing on careers etc. (I knew you were just kidding ;) )
