Register for Carl's Sims 3 Gallery - Phasing Out

Hi, I tried making a gallery account about 2 weeks ago but I still haven't gotten a confirmation email.
Should I try making another account or should I just wait ?

I just went to the gallery and it says you are registered.  Have you tried signing in?

When I signed up for the gallery I did not get a confirmation email either when Pam gave me access to use the gallery - perhaps the mail is broken? I recommend checking if perhaps you already can use the gallery.

Just an FYI - I always send out a confirmation when I activate a member to use this service.  
I try to check the site a couple of times each day as I am by my computer most of the time, but please feel free to PM me for faster activation.

I just registered for this nifty little service because I just made an awesome house and family that I truly want to brag about a bit, but when i went back to check to see if it was now activated the site tells me that I am banned from using this service

Is anyone else having trouble logging in to the Gallery?  Most days when I go to the Gallery I'm already logged in, but I've just tried to log in 4 or 5 times with no success.  It keeps showing me as "guest," even though it remembers my username and password.

It lets me log in fine, although I've seen that glitch before. Sorry I can't be more helpful with it -- it gives me trouble sometimes too. Sometimes I'll use another browser to find it's working fine, or use the control + F5 forced refresh. Unfortunately I can't do much to fix it as I'm no expert in those types of things. Everything seems good on the server end.

Thanks for the reply, Carl.  It sounds like a temporary glitch.  I'll just have to try again, maybe after restarting my computer.

I didn't have any problems logging in either and I use IE9.  I have logged in twice today with no problems.

I've just tried to access the gallery again with no luck.  It continues to see me as a guest and won't let me access my albums.  I don't know what "the control + F5 forced refresh" is (from Carl's post).  How does that work, or is there something else that I can try?

For F5, when you are on the web page, you push F5.  That is similar to pushing the browsers refresh button.  You may need to push a function button or control + F5, depending on how your keyboard is.  You will now when it works though, the page will reload.

I would try using a different browser if you have another one on your computer.  I personally use Google Chrome.  When Chrome doesn't work I try to remember to jump on Internet Explorer to see if the website works there.  After trying that, I would clear your internet cookies.  A little clean-up might help.

I was having trouble accessing a website last night.  I did all of the above but to no avail.  Carl even tried.  He was successful loading the website, where I wasn't.  I can now access the website fine now, but it did take awhile.

It still isn't working for me.  I've tried pressing both f5 and control-f5 but all that does is bring up the same page I'm on.  It continues to insist that I'm a guest and won't let me access my albums.  I don't have any browser other than the one I always use (internet explorer).  Should I try re-registering?

Edit:  I just tried re-registering.  It won't let me because the username is already in existence.
