I have a question as well! Why does it say I am logged in as Simstar3? 

Each time I clicked a link and I switched between the following and myself only when searching and logging out!

Someone just started another thread about this, I too am having a problem and it says I am logged in as Simstar, but then I go to another page and it says I am logged in, but when I try to upload, it gives me simstars again, but my folder, weird.

This may explain why it's telling me that a valid token could not be found. What's a valid token?

I am not sure what the problem is, but it seems we are all simstar for the day, lol.  I am sorry, I had to say that.  I can't even do my small update for my dynasty.  Oh well, I am sure Carl will be around soon enough to tell us what the problem is, might be some kind of a loop issue and something is stuck.  Shows how technical I am.

Everyone is Simstar except for me. I'm kidakiwi04! I guess I can deal with being someone else, but I was getting ready to play some more. Oh well, I'll play anyways and then update when everyone becomes themselves again!

Oh phew, I thought I was the only one with this problem, and it was something to do with me registering!

I'm _Alexandria for some reason when uploading. All other times I'm Castaras. :S

I'm working on it. Unfortunately it's affecting me as well which is making things difficult. I've got it so that I'm getting the form token error now, and believe it or not I think that might be a sign of progress. I wonder exactly when this started. Was anyone able to use this between the hours of 5am (reboot) and noon forum time?

This is probably my fault. I forgot who reported it to me, but some of you may have noticed we had "couldn't connect to database" errors a while back. I have a total of 2 more guides coming up to the server within 3 months so I widened the number of connections we can accept. Servers come with such basic setups. I actually had to extend the size of our drive as only about 0.4% of it was allocated and we ran out of disk space recently. As to how these issues caused this problem, I'm unsure but on the case.

This situation isn't a case of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" because we were definitely going to run into some trouble down the road.

The gallery has been frozen for now. I'm backing everything up. It seems something has gone wrong with the gallery itself. So, I'm going to have to set up a test server and see if I can get functionality restored without tampering with that current install.

As it stands, all the data there is safe and the gallery still hosts images but no one can log in and do anything.

You can expect further information within a couple of days. I'll need to talk to Pam about the issue and we'll come to a decision as to what should be done. Even with a fresh install, I'm meeting the same errors the moment I incorporate the user accounts so something has gone wrong there.
