Is kleptomaniac bugged I thought it was possible to steal paintings yet I can't seem to be able to.

Also I've swiped a few things and they never appeared in any personal or household inventories.

Also do the items you swipe from the lots ever respawn or do they stay removed from the lot.

Once there stolen I have never seen any item replaced on the lot it was stolen from. As for your other concerns I haven't yet faced those issues. Try repairing your game. I wish you luck. I am 100% sure someone with more knowledge than me will try to help you with those issues.

Other people have had problems with stolen items not appearing in inventory, check out the bug report here:

and add a 'me too' to the first post if it is the same issue.
