SimBot Hybrid

Well its America every one can have his or her own opinion. What I was saying is that you can't have a simbot/mummy because the game thinks he's a simbot. [edited due to the NO MODDING stance of the forum and Pam warned you not to just a few posts back-wildredcchild}.

It's America?  What??  This is an international Forum.  There are tons of people on this Forum who don't live in America, so that's pretty much a silly thing to say.

You still haven't made it clear exactly what kind of testing you did.  You didn't even clarify that you were talking about a SimBot/mummy hybrid.  If you're going to make statements like this, it's a really good idea to have something to back it up.  And as wildredchild said, I warned you not to talk about mods on this Forum, so please don't.

I've done more testing on my mummy hybrids. They pretty much fit into what IloveLlamas said about Simbot hybrids; although they look like normal Sims, they're mummies through and through. They can even be cured and turned back into normal Sims. However, I noticed one of them had a baby that was also obviously a mummy (his bladder and energy bars were blocked out). I was curious, so I decided to age him up into an adorable toddl- AAARGH!!

Dear God! Kill it! Kill it! It's a toddler with not only mummy characteristics, but also the adult mummy skin. I've got videos of it crawling, and it looks like one of those awful geists from World of Warcraft: Rise of the Lich King.

...I think I'm having nightmares tonight. I hope my computer doesn't explode.

Ausette: this really is outstanding work! Very claver of you to think about the mummies too after this had happens to simbots. I would never thought to see a toddler mummie. Wow!
So can we savely say now that the story progression don't make any difference when it deals with sims, no matter what kind of sims specie they are? Or do we need to see more testing?
I personally think this will add some great info for the guide.
Uhm Ausette: Maybe you would make a sort of guide out of this, after you maybe have found out what caused this strange story progression? I already can tell you without a doubt that you would have at least two readers already: Esther and me.

And me! I hate it when the game does anything weird to my files but I love reading about it happening to other people.    If you find out more Ausette, please let us know.

Hmm, I'm not sure if it'd be a common enough glitch to justify writing a guide about it, but the information's on the forum now so anyone who's interested can read it. Perhaps later on there could be a Story Progression guide that would outline its glitches and features, but there's so much going on at the site right now it'd have to wait no matter what happens.

Will do  . I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to touch that save file for a little while though, which sort of sucks because my Supermax Sim's on it.

I'm going to play Uriah and get him to have a child if I can.  If he's able to reproduce with a normal Sim, that will make him even more of a hybrid because SimBots you control can't reproduce.  Then I want to see if his child walks and talks like a SimBot.

None of my mummies could reproduce, so good luck! It'd be awesome of Uriah had kids, fingers crossed eh?

I have never managed to get a mummy before (largely due to my reluctance to cheat), so I can't say anything about that. However, I've had about ten different SimBots over many different games, and I once had a couple of them doing NPC jobs, like babysitter and maid. The maid was useless, as she kept on shorting out!
