OT- Snow day = Sim Day!

We have SNOW in Texas!!  I don't know if we'll have a white Christmas, but we're having a semi-white Christmas Eve!  Merry Christmas to all of our friends!

I'm in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  It's still coming down and I'm seeing accumulation on the grass!

Unfortunatly, it melted after a couple hours. 

Its just gonna keep on warming up and keep raining.

Our friends in the plains states probably wish their snow would melt. Some around my region are ordering pizza for christmas because they have no power from the snow storm last weekend. Sorry for all you out there. Merry Christmas to all.

Brace yourselves!!  We have big snow in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas!  Yes!  We really do!  There's about six inches on the ground and it's still coming down in big puffy flakes.  I've lived here since I was a year old and don't remember a snow as big as this.  It's just beautiful! Look at my house!!!

I wanna see a snowman, Pam! Give it some Texas flavor and put his hand on an oil barrel or something. Or maybe wearing an old Ross Perot campaign hat.

It's a little warm here. Glad we don't have any snow, i'd never go outside. Icy roads, snow shoveling, salting, power going out...none of that for me thank you. I was in south Texas one year when it snowed and everything came to a screeching halt.

I don't if we've shut down, but hubby will be going to work soon.  There should be plenty of traction on top of the snow.  It didn't ice this time like it usually does here.  Just beautiful snow!  It's coming down even heavier now and should continue for probably another six hours.

Pam, you are soooo lucky! I live near Houston and we got a little sleet yesterday but I've got an aunt who lives just outside of Dallas and I'm sure she's gotten as much as you have!

Yeah, it's pretty amazing.  I know a lot of people get snow like this all winter, but we sure don't.  It's a big deal to get any accumulation at all and it always still lets the tips of the grass show through.  Not this time!  There could be eight inches on the ground at the moment.  I'm not good at measuring snow, understandably.  Lol.

We have about 10 inches in Columbus, OH!! It's so beautiful!! And it is really slick too! I almost fell this morning going to the store!

Columbus usually gets snow, though, doesn't it?  This is so rare for us.  I don't think I've ever seen this much snow in Texas.  Look at my back yard!
