Maybe the chance of success goes up if I just let him use the wall autonomously. Anyway, it's great you don't have to sit around and wait for it now, Playalot ;)

Sort of, only thing is I can't get him to conquer the last challenge now so still no wall of fire!

That would basically be like expecting him to try and kill himself. Of course, sometimes Sims appear to be inclined to do just that. Not often enough though if you ask me, but it's a double-edged sword.

Yeah but it would be nice to get it unlocked. Lost count how many times he has tried the last challenge now. Talk about frustrating game play. Especially as he auto completed the first ones!

Why all the Lilith hate? Caleb is the annoying one. Of course given my main sim dated Lilith for a while and I have no need of Caleb, maybe I am biased.

Anyway, back to the main point of this thread, Has anyone actually completed all the climbing wall challenges? I am stuck on hard. Is the only reward a sense of accomplishment or is there a cool moodlet or something? Does this wall only exist to annoy me as my sims just can't climb the thing?

OK  I done it now. The great reward for the countless attempts at climbing the dumb wall and finely completing all the challenges is a lousy +1 energized buff that is short lived. I was hoping for a +3 one that lasted a half a day considering how difficult it was to work my way to that point, the sim is risking death by fire, and the fact failure is much more common then success climbing on dangerous even with all skills maxed. It seems that object is all risk and no reward.

Congrats for getting there! I'm still climbing away without much success. Well least it is encouraging knowing that it can actually be done and is not some foul bug. I was starting to wonder actually! I think unlocking the fire climb is really the reward.

Congrats on beating that challenge scoed!
After all your sim's time and effort, beating all four challenges should really be part of some aspiration that gives a permanent reward trait!

Hmmm, but what does unlocking the fire climbing offer besides a boost to the fitness skill?
C'mon, scoed's sim should at least get a special T-shirt like with the Curry Contest!

Thanks everyone.

Yes it can be done. Note the fire challenge is far from an auto complete. It took 6 tries and I am reasonably sure on the third try I would have caught fire had my sim not have completed the gardening aspiration. Save your game before doing the fire challenge.

If your doing it for a reward, sorry there isn't one. Well I guess there is a sort lived +1 energized buff. Lame. The fire challenge is cool looking. While climbing it looked at times like my sim was farting fire. That was the real reward I guess.

Just remember sabe your game before each run on the fire challenge as it appears catching fire isn't that rare.

Congrats from me too even though I'm late ^.^"

Usually the feeling 'I did it!' is good enough for me since sticking with something is more of personal feat than an in-game achievement. Alas, I've been occupied with some other stuff (in the game) the last few days. I've discovered that toddlers are cute as long as they don't live with my Sim. But I will be back for the challenge. Eventually!
