Mostly Martha Immortals in Twinbrook (The End)

You did a good job of it!

Lina and Donnell moved into the master bedroom.  Lina cranks out paintings all day for her self-employed career.  Her mom sells them at the consignment store since she has such a good reputation.



Donnell hates repairing things, especially machines.  Despite his whining, he is actually pretty good at it.



He is not crazy about gardening either.  "Screw this noise," he says while powering up the harvester, "I will just let this thing suck up all the fruit and then I can go fishing."



Donnell loves fishing. 



Oops, he is quite a bit older than Lina and I completely forgot about his birthday.



More whining and grumbling.  Such silly superstitions!



Martha is keeping busy with a drilling machine she found at the consignment store.  She picks up gems and rocks all day.  She looks pretty serious about it.



Donnell got a bit singed fixing the hot tub but his needs are almost full. 



Eek!  What's happening??  It says he is expiring! 



Lina tried to talk to Grim Reaper but he did not give her a chance.  She is VERY upset and so am I! 



Martha rescheduled all her activities and invited all the previous eligible bachelors but each one responded with "Sorry, I don't feel like coming over."  So she got her car and visited every house.  Meanwhile, Lina called over the repairman to fix the hot tub.  Surprisingly the usual repairgirl did not come, instead Benito showed up.  He is very very excited to finally meet Lina.  He actually said "yes!" when he walked past her. 



After finishing up, he takes a moment to talk to Lina.  She did not mean to, but he was so nice that she blurted out her predicament.  "Oh honey," he says, taking her hand, "I will take good care of you!  Just give me a chance!"



...an offer that Lina found irresistable.  Meet the newest member of the family.  Benito is wonderful.  He loves to garden.



He hates vampires.



He cries when a plant dies.



He fixes anything.



He even wants to fix things that aren't broken.



He hates being interrupted.



And he loves spending time with his girl.  "I heard that you were single again and then I bribed her," he admitted.



For those of us still upset about Donnell, he appeared pretty soon after his demise and seems happy.  Playing with the sprinklers, of course.

Lina is finished with her painting challenges and starts sculpting.



Casually over a cooking show, Martha asks Benito if she might be hearing little pitter patter of feet in the house soon.



Benito is too embarrased to reply.



Another disaster!!!  Martha died drilling!  How is this possible??  Thank goodness she had a death flower.  I was wondering why she got more and more depressed.  I read later that after the patch the cheap beds were bugged and drained the sim's mood.  I guess she had a Crushing Depression.  Or she felt her life was just a Black Hole.   Or she felt she was being Buried Alive by her stress.  Or she felt like she was already at the Ends of the Earth.  Or she was Out of her Depths and the solution was Over her Head. You pick.



Okay this generation has way too many random events.  I think I need a drink.



Good news - Lina and Benito are expecting!



TWINS!  "Don't worry honey," says Benito, "it is going to be just fine."



That is nice of him to say but I am about to have a heart attack.  I do NOT like parenting.  Here are the little bundles of joy, Bernadette and Lea.  Bernadette was born first, so she will be the next generation.



The two parents and grandma work around the clock to keep the twins happy and teach them toddler things.  "If you learn how to talk," says Benito, "you can ask for a Coke"



Lea says to Bernadette, "in this house, you will have all the pressure and I will do whatever I feel like"



The little laundry bear is wondering where everyone is.



Lina is very close to completing her goals.  "Have you seen my best friend?" she asks, "he has a wide brimmed hat and bow tie."



Martha realized that the host is wearing her exact same swimsuit.



Bernadette and Lea like to play catch after school, here is Bernadette:



And Lea, who is very apparently athletic.



Lina has turned into an elder and soon after the last painful self-portrait (for me, not for her!), she eats her ambrosia cooked by Martha.  As an adult, Lina painted 12 'self-portraits' before finally doing something reasonably acceptable.  Not sure why blotchy dark paintings are considered brilliant or masterful.  I must not be very artistic

Previously on Mostly Martha: 
Lina and Benito had twins.  Lina completed her checklist and now serves as the family painter and sculptor.

Chapter 3:  Bernadette
Bernadette and her twin sister had an uneventful childhood.  Here is Bernadette wishing she was as smart as Lea.
 


I forgot to put burglar alarms in the museum!  The burglar was headed straight for Bernadette's ice sculpture when the police arrived.  Phew that was close - Bernadette is already a teen and it would have been irreplaceable.



"Hi handsome, will you marry me when I hit 18? Gimme a smooch."



"Ack, get a way from me!"  Sadly Leonardo later turned into a vampire.



Bernadette and Lea are conspiring.  They are so wildly different that it was hard to get a picture of them together.  Lea is athletic and smart.  Bernadette mainly thinks about fish and boys.



Her childhood friend, Gerardo is now a bit plump and cute as ever with the most beautiful violet eyes.  Bernadette does not waste any time.



Kissie seals the deal.  Welcome to the family!



Bernadette is fishing at home and overseas. 



"What was that?  Hello?"



Pretty soon she has made her Life Time Want by gathering 13 different perfect fish specimens.

Your sims are so cute!  I love how pleased Benito looks when they come home with twins.  That really was a whole lot of random in a row, though, wow.

"Seriously Mom, that is not the way I posed."



Dad Benito is still gardening and fixing stuff.



What do we have here?   



"Hey there blondie, how's it going?"  Benito feels a bit strange after dinner.



Bernadette wonders if she can skip the whole pregnancy ordeal and just order a kid with her phone.  You and me both, girl.



Lea is in the law career track and after work she sculpts her fingers to the bone so she can make an ice sculpture of her mom Lina.  She is not liking it much.



What is Martha giggling about?  Minutes later Lina was spotted in the kitchen wearing only a towel.



The girls cheer when Martha finally retires.  "Yaih Grandma, you are a ... gorilla for working so long."



"Why do I even bother standing here?"



Bernadette goes overseas a few more time, mainly raiding Egyptian and French tombs to gather all the World Adventure fruits.  But since the house now has a million sims in it, it's nice to travel with just one.  She also takes photos which you may notice in my shots. 



Lea is now a super spy!  I have no idea what the frump face is for.



Gerardo keeps being called out to fill in the holes his grandma-in-law Martha makes with her miner.  Sometimes he goes on adventures and brings back rocks or fish or other useless items.  It is mostly a way to keep him busy.



A midnight visit from Benito makes Bernadette cheer and Gerardo faint.



"Yes, this is me, Mr. Top Gun and soon to be Astronaut."



Abracadabra has found something valuable in the garden.  Thanks to Martha's drilling, they now have several tiberiums, soulpieces and whatnot.  An extra large display case was purchased for pure trasmorgifying entertainment.



"It's the middle of the night and I would like to tell you that I am pregnant!" Bernadette whispers, "I am not going to do anything at all during this time!  Not even read a pregnancy book!  I'm just going to sit on my butt and watch tv."



Wait a minute, pan out a bit... why is there a cow on the screen?  Uh oh.



Good grief twins again!  Bernadette and Gerardo are both shocked!  Whaaa!

Finally caught up.  I loved your story after the first post and I love it even more now!

"Twins can be hazardous to your health, you know," Gerardo remarks over cookies.



I honestly did nothing to influence this pregnancy.  Bernadette usually watches fishing shows, I had no idea she changed the channel.  Luckily having a grandma and great-grandma on the lot has its benefits.  There always seems to be someone awake to take care of the babies.



Lea is on fire!   Do not be fooled by her alarm, she is a daredevil and actually had a +60 moodlet while she was ablaze.



I am getting de ja vu here.  Is this Bernadette and Lea?  No, it is Frida and Katrin from left to right.  This time the dark haired Katrin is the first born.  It is a mystery where the black hair comes from.  Don't look at me, I just hit save every now and then.



An updated shot of the house.  It is really looking good now. 



Oh heavens!  Ghosts again!



"That's a pretty big chainsaw you have there, Grandma..." Katrin says, "... can I go back to bed now?"
