Problems w/Lotto Tickets

Hi, I'm having a problem w/this today. I had my sim go to the future, check the lotto records and found a winning number. I had her go back to the present and several times now I've had her "buy the winning ticket," but when I bring her back, it *still* says I should go back to the present and buy the ticket. When I do buy the ticket, it is subtracting her money, but the ticket does not appear in her inventory. Any help w/this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

well, I just tried this on a vanilla game. She was able to find inside tips on the lotto in the future and at home, she was able t "buy the winning ticket," but it never showed up in her inventory and when I took her back, the lotto tab on the city hall was grayed out and said to go home and buy the ticket. So, either I'm doing something wrong, or the system is broken. Any ideas?

For anybody who reads this, I found my problem. You need to get the "insider tips" at the future city hall, go back home and wait. The winning is at  home, not in the future which makes total sense. I just never thought of it. : /
