How much money can your sims earn in a week.

The topic says it all. I believe my legacy family makes about 110,000 a week (roughly: 20,000 from jobs, 40,000 from opportunities, 50,000 from businesses). By the end of the week they spent all their money on businesses and spa visits. :D

The sim I am playing now is capable of pulling in around 200,000 a week if I put his nose to the grindstone. Unemployed, he just breaks space rocks and raids tombs.

I have not done tip playing since the latest patch, so I don't know if the completely broken slot machine has been fixed. But, going on the assumption that it hasn't, if I had 4-6 weeks to prepare and "train" a musician I'm guessing he could then make close to 1 million a day in a subway playing for tips.

It's fixed a little.  They still get a steady flow of tips, but they aren't as frequent as before.

While completing all the skills with Max Skills he acidently had made several millions of dollars in one week. The point is that he is so good in everything, he doesn't need a job though. All those skills coming together makes this guy a sort of virtual supersim. It's actually hard to be poor. :P No kidding.

Leto, what would happen if you did familyfunds, got him to $0 than checked again in exactly one week? That would be awesome!

I hope they don't fix it at all. Much like when they "fixed" klepto on public lots...made playing a thief less fun.

Lets see, my sim has guitar 10 and only about 72 practices...she made 70,000 in just a few hours before heading off to her job at the business office. :D She can probably get 130,000 playing all day...enough to add another property to her collection.

That is a very logical and save way to test this, but the thing is that his income varies with every week so therefore I can not provite you with hard numbers. It litterly differs between 0 and many.
Before you ask, that has everything to do with what skill I was working on at what week. It should be logical that sparring Martial Art with other sims will not add one single dollar to the household while playing any random instrument will result in the total oposite of that.

That makes sense. Ok, I was just thinking off the top of my head anyways!  ;D

My main sim (before I moved him to a fresh-new Sunset Valley, now with LN lots) owned all the properties and buyable community lots. When it was needed, I ranked stuff up to 3 stars, so in the end he owned the entire neighborhood and it was all 3-star-fancy, giving max profit. It took around 22 sim-day hours to completely collect the profit from all of the lots. Every week I would get around 1.4 million, something near that. Obviously, I just let the cash grow and grow, and collect once every sim-month, so that those 22 hours are worth it.

I too have been through the mental torture of cueing up and cancelling the "perfrom" action 3000 mind and hand numbing times but once you get past that you can earn as much as you like because once you cross a certain threshhold it really doesn't matter about making money any more so I actually don't spend much time playing for tips. I actually haven't bothered with buying the properties out because I really can't be bothered collecting my money every week. Not enough hours in the sim day  ::).
