Sims pets horse issues
« on: May 17, 2017, 09:14:03 AM »
Hey everyone!!! Shout out to carl for this website!!! Anyways i adopted a sim foal whom i cant get to eat etc. When i click on the hay there is no option for eating. What do i need to do to feed my foal???

Also, i got the box stalls that is suggested for my horses to take care of bladder. But there doesn't seem to be an option to make the horse do his business when he needs to. Do i just let his bladder get to the red and him go or is there something i need to purchase??? Thanks!!!

Usually my foals feed from their mother.  I've never adopted a foal before.  Did you spread the hay first?  If that doesn't work, the foal will feed itself eating grass.  As for urinating, click on the ground in the stall and there should be an option to pee.  If not, your foal may be glitched.

Hey, thanks!!! I figure if its glitched i have to reinstall the pets pack. As for spreading the hay, im not sure sims 3 has that option. I realize i should have stated which sims i had, sorry about that.

In Sims 3 if you click on the hay bale or hay stack it has the option to "spread hay" or something similarly worded.  But the horses also browse on the grass to feed themselves.  You have the option to feed a horse apples or carrots if your Sim has them in their inventory but I don't recall if you can do that with a foal.  Good luck.

My sims have always bottlefed foals. Click on the foal (as a sim) and the option should come up.

No need to reinstall  :) If I'm not wrong, you'll only get the option to pee when your horse really needs to. Also I think foals drink milk only :?

Hope you enjoy sims 3  ;D

Foals can only be bottle fed and also you can only make pets pee when their bladder meter is really low, until then the option just doesn't appear.  :)
