My game spawns about 85% Sims with Japanese names and the darkest brown eyes. These Sims are frequently blonde. I also get a good many dark-skinned Sims with the darkest eyes and either Indian or Middle Eastern names. Since I'm not currently playing a challenge I spend a lot of time changing these Sims. The Japanese Sims are also frequently obese or have full beards or sideburns so I have to fix the ones I want to keep as Japanese as well. It's a bit frustrating.  I want diversity in my game, but I also want balance.

I also had to gender swap some children and teens because I'm getting the single mom, teenage daughter, male child family configuration again. :/

Play --- I started TS4 in September 2015, so that was after GTW came out.  Maybe change sim in a mirror had already been patched in by the time I started to play --- no cheats needed. 

However, things like body weight and traits/life stage still need a cheat.

Thanks coolsims, I guess I should really get in the habit of revisiting things after a patch as so many smaller mechanics etc do change without there being a notification or mention in the patch notes.
