[BUG] When going to school/work time freezes/stops

Hi !
Everytime it's time for my sims to go to school, time kind of... stops.
When it's 8 AM they just stop and do nothing. I can't cancel their actions or make them do anything and when I try to speed up, it doesn't work.
It's like this until about 9:30 AM and then time jumps back to like 8:14 and they can move again and they can go to school.
It's like this mostly when they go to school, but sometimes when they go to work too.
Anyone who knows what the problem is?

Some suggested work-arounds are:

1. Move the Mods folder to the desktop
2. Repair the game via Origin. - Right-click on the Sims 4 photo, and select Repair.
3. Have them standing on the footpath right at the spot where they leave for school, making sure they are on that spot prior to 8.00 am.

If that doesn't help, you may want to explain the problem in the thread linked above.
