Sims 4: "Have a Child Get Married" Aspiration won't complete

Usually I can google my issue and get a quick result but this time I seem to be the only one having this issue.  My Sim has the Aspiration "Big Happy Family". I had my Sims children move out of the house once they reached Young Adult status and I had one of them get married. When I returned to play my main Sims household the aspiration, "Have a Child Get Married" isn't checked off (?) Did I do something wrong?

I'm not sure but I'd imagine that you would have to be actively playing the parent to get the achievement to register. The times I've completed that aspiration I have had both the child and the parent still in the actively played household and only moved the newly married child out once the requirement was met.

That's probably what it is.  I'll have to try again with the other child and move her back again before she gets married. Hopefully it'll work that time. Thanks!
