Who would be interested in a collecting challenge?

Just what the subject says: Who would be interested in a collecting challenge?  I've been doing this on my own for years. I still haven't succeeded. But I'm thinking of starting a new household to do so. Anybody interested in joining me on my journey? I need to come up with rules and suggestions and such. Please comment below. This is my first post and I'm nervous. I just hope it's not my last.

Thing is,  though, I have to wait til the 8th to start. That's when my new late night disc gets here. I'm thinking of naming the guy Cole Lector, pun intended. Any thoughts?

This is my current attempt,  and she's done a lot of collecting. Though technically she bought her plants,  which I was trying to avoid. But her property does not have room for a garden. Another reason I want to start over.

What do you mean by collecting challenge? Do you mean like, one sim collects all butterflies? Or collects all items that could be foraged in the game?

Everything that is collectable. Including all 28 skills available to be maxed.

I'm building Cole's house now.

But like I said, I need some suggestions on when the challenge would be finished.

He's currently locked in the logic room. You'll find him on the second floor in the center. I've gotta get him working on his potions so he can make the young again potion. The only cheat I currently have on is make needs static through god mode. TCE  I haven't started him collecting yet because his house isn't complete. And the house is very important. I hope to get more comments. Still need suggestions on gameplay and rules. Have a good night Sims community.

You can also take in-game photos by pressing the C key while your in game.

The photos can then be found by using this path:

Cole is out of commission. I'm uninstalling Sims in preparation for the arrival of late night. That and I have an awesome idea for a backstory. Cole will return but he will look different. As will his house. Time to research.

sorry for eminem. As soon as i have reinstalled my Sims games, i will make a sim avatar. (probably cole himself) my internet is working so i'll be posting from my laptop from now on. yay! better pics. and maybe some videos. havent figured them out yet. haven't tried to. i even plan on making a prologue (the backstory). i will formerly introduce you to the new cole lector. MrsFlynn, i was wondering if you could help me with rules, requirements, and such. i definitely need to figure out when the end is. i know all about gameplay though. who knows, maybe we can even get carl's attention. i know i'd like to. i would also like azokka's imput. she's the author of the Elysi (sp?) immortal dynasty. it's an amazing read. i started my research this morning. i need to write the back story, that way i have an idea of whats gonna happen. the "mission parameters" will be explained as well as some general information.

What I Know Now:

Town to be used: Paradise Islands (Isla Paradiso from the Island Paradise EP)
Starting Cheats: testingcheatsenabled true (Make Needs Static, Age Freeze Potion LTR), buydebug (Plants, Treasure Chests)
New name: Commander Qo Lektor
Current Traits: Coward, Gatherer, Loves the Outdoors. (Coward will be changed to Brave in the future)
First Skill: Writing.
Future Collections: World Adventures Relic collections.
First characters: Commander Qo Lektor, Male General, Female General (Generals will be sent to Sim Bin after Prologue)

I might make this a challenge/dynasty. idk. i haven't decided yet.

It would be helpful to explain in better detail what you want to do. Then we may be able to help better. Just saying you're wanting to start a collection challenge doesn't really give much detail.

Unless you're wanting to start your own challenge? Look these challenges over to get some ideas from them and create yours from them.

I want to have one Sim collect at least one of everything. Literally. Gems, Gem Cuts, Metals (not sure about large sized though), Sea Shells, Insects (all types), Supermax every Skill, Relic Collections, Small pets, Large pets, Plants, etc, etc. I'm debating on including discovering the fogged out islands. I'm either gonna put mine in Isla Paradiso or Bridgeport, I haven't decided yet.  Families are optional, but they would be more "helpers" than anything. But the "Commander" will need the Age Freeze Potion. I may just make it my own story. Idk. That's why I started this thread to begin with, to see if anyone would be interested in reading my story and/or attempting this themselves.
