None of these will do well for gaming. The Lenovo Yoga isn't made for gaming. And the other two have weaker processors that won't perform well with games. They don't have dedicated video cards and don't have adequate cooling, even with a cooling mat. Putting them at risk for overheating and damaging the internal parts.

These games are processor and graphics heavy. Both game's requirements are for desktop, not laptop. Laptops are weaker than desktop hardware. Laptops can not be upgraded.

You are stuck with the specs you buy. Since you can not upgrade the laptop it is advised you buy a laptop that meets the recommended requirements on desktop.

For Sims 4, this means you need a much more powerful laptop to survive the game as the game adds more and more. S4 is not complete and becomes more powerful with each add on. Laptops overall to survive this game may cost more than a desktop to run this game.

If you are going to play on laptop you need:

Video card Nvidia GTX 960m or higher or a 1050 ti or higher
Processor you need intel i7 HQ or MQ quad core processor
8 gb computer ram
at least 500 gb of hard drive space or more
Windows 64 bit.

If you post your budget and county we can help you find a laptop. Laptops to run these games go from $900 and up depending on sales. Desktop $700 and up USD. Prices may vary in other countries

Here are a couple of laptops that will run Sims 3 and 4 fine on med-high settings. I am also including a link to a cooling mat which is suggested to buy even though these laptops have better cooling. It's recommended having extra cooling. As the games make the laptops run hot.

ASUS ROG GL552VX-CN239T 15.6 inch Full HD Gaming Laptop (Intel Core i5-6300HQ Processor, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD + 128 GB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M 2 GB GDDR5 Graphics, Windows 10) = Price: £699.99

Dell Inspiron 7000 15.6" Gaming Laptop (Intel Core i5-7300HQ, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, GTX 1050 4GB) = Price: £779.99

Gaming Laptop Cooling Pad, TeckNet Laptop Cooler Cooling Pad Stand with 2 Speed Adjustable Fans at 3500 RPM, Temperature Display Screen, Ultra Quiet Design, Fits up to 17" = Sale:    £21.99

It's a toss up really - spec wise. To close to call which is better. Both may run low-med settings for about an hour or two at most. This is due to their U processors, low/medium grade graphics and not adequate ventilation.

Without getting too technical, they make the U (Ultra-low-voltage or UVL) processors to save energy/electricity to help save battery life. But they do this at the expense of the processing power games need. So it makes for a not so good gaming experience.

The laptop you just asked about will definitely not run either games. i3 processors aren't made for gaming at all. The GT940 graphics will get low-med graphics.

It may sound like I'm talking these laptops down. I don't mean to be. I've tried a laptop that could only do med settings (graphics/processor wise) before and it's a painful and made me want something better. Later  got a better laptop and couldn't be happier as it has better gaming performance and don't have to worry so much about burning up the internal parts.

I run both sims 4 and 3 on this old laptop..Dell Latitude E650p. Must be dirt cheap even in Ireland (from New Zealand). Its only and Intel Core 2 Duo 64bit, CPUP8600 @2.40ghz, 4gb ram NVIDIA QUADRO NVS 160M...strange but I have all S3 games loaded, I load lots of content (I always defrag, and delete the DCbackup folder each time I install content and install only 100 to 200 items at a time but have had up to 20,000 items in total). My C drive only has 232gb. How's That!? I have a Dell XPS I7-2730qm CPU @ 2.00ghz, 8gb ram also 64bit that crashes each time I try to play (could be that it overheats it could be that it has not enough ghz).
So try to go with an I7, with at least 2.40ghz, minimum 4gb ram...250-500gb internal memory. Write it down, Harvey Normans is fairly expensive, other online shops may be more useful if you email them and explain. Or you could just get a refurbished 2nd hand, cheap Dell Latitude E650 with the same specs at least as mine. If it works for me should work for you.

Yes the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 7567 will definitely work!! It's got the processing power, and graphics that will be able to play both games on med/high. It should take you through the rest of what comes out for Sims 4. What a great find!! Plus it's got great ventilation!!

With used/refurbished systems, like what was suggested above. They may not be able to handle what will be released. Nor do you know for sure how they were used and how well they can stand up to gameplay. So with that I don't recommend used or refurbished systems. Specially when you're wanting to play on high/max settings.
