Missing CC Backup Files

So, a while back I deleted some of the backup files in my Sims 3 Downloads folder in hopes that it would make the game run a little faster, but now, as I'm doing my first factory reset, I find myself needing those files back in order to reinstall most of my CC. The items are still in the "Installed Content" page in my launcher, but I don't have the physical files I need to reinstall them into my new Sims. Is there any way to recover them? Or do I need to scour the internet for the originals and re-download them?

What you can do is create households and lots with all your CC. Export them. So you get Sims3Packs with all your CC in it. I know it takes time especially if you have plenty of CC. But you can easily get it back in your downloads folder this way.
And don't forget to always keep a full backup after... Because you never know.
About backups, do you use Time Machine ? If yes, maybe you have a Time Machine backup of your CC already.

Turns out I made a backup folder of all my downloads a long time ago. Whew!
