Welcome to originalsim and mammabec! Carl and Pam's Sims 3 guide is pretty awesome alright. The forum's a great place to talk Sims 3 and make a few friends.

This post is a bit late, but hello! I'm Simsissy. I've been a quiet lurker in most major sims communities over the last...well I think it has been over 10 years or so. I've purchased and owned versions of the Sims from the original version all the way to 3 and a few of the Life Stories as well. It is a game that helps me relax. In playing the Sims 3, Carl's Guide has been ever so helpful, it is the website I usually have minimized and in my tray so if I get stuck while playing I can close my sims window and open the website. Without fail, I usually find my answer. I'm finally decided to join in all the fun on this Forum, mostly because the Dynasty challenged seemed so interesting but also the integrity and standards that this community has makes it a very comforting place.

Nice to meet you all and I hope to get to know you better!

Now time to go finish up my homework (Working on my last 3 weeks of my second college degree) so I can get back to my Dynasty. It is addictive I tell ya!

I know what you mean!
I have homework to do right now, but when I think "Study legislation or play my Immortal Dynasty Challenge?", you can probably tell which one I'm leaning towards :D

Hi, I'm Natsuko and I love Sims 3! I spent part of my childhood in Russia, then my family moved to Japan, and then my family moved to America, where I went to college and got a degree in Civil Rights. I love playing Sims 3 because I like the realism in it. I'm an expert house builder in Sims 3, and I've raised many families. I've also got Ambitions and Sims 3 for the DS. And I'm planning on going back to graduate school next fall.

I can't wait to meet everyone else! This is a great form!

Welcome simsissy! Congrats on your first college degree and good luck completing your second. I have 2 degrees as well: a Bachelor's in Biology and a Bachelor's in Nursing. Six years of nothing but homework, class, and studying! Now I get to play Sims and look for a job.

Welcome also to Natsuko! Sounds like you had a very interesting childhood: living in 3 very different countries. Enjoy your summer here and good luck with grad school come this autumn.

Welcome to both simsissy and Natsuko! I'm sure you will enjoy the Forum  :)

Slightly off-topic, but-Isn't it amazing how many new members we are getting every day? I don't think that there has been no new members in a day for quite some time now, at least when I log on. It has been said many times before, and will certainly be said again, but I am so proud to be a member here.

Welcome Natsuko. So you do speak Russia, Japanese and English? That are three total different languages AND alphabets. Wow, that is really amazing!
If you're an expert in building than I would love to see you there. And I'm sure Thomas (the big guy behind the building section) will feel the same way.
Have fun here! If you like sims, you will like it here. :)

Welcome Simsissy and Natsuko!

I'm an expert house builder in Sims 3, and I've raised many families.

I am so looking forward to seeing some of your houses.  I get so many wonderful ideas from all of the wonderful builders we have on this site, and I'm always anxious for a new perspective!

I realized as I posted to a few threads that I had never actually made the post of introducing myself!  For that I apologize.

Hi! I'm Ricalynn and I've been playing Sims 3 off and on since it came out.  I have most of the EPs and am currently anxiously awaiting for the clock to run out so I can DL Sims Medieval.   Even though I've played for a long time, it's more like I've dabbled with the game. Since finding this forum I've realized that there are so many things I don't know about the Sims and I'm enjoying all the new aspects to enter my gameplay.  Since I started lurking and finally joined I've started 3 challenges (only two will be posted, missed deadline of one) and a dynasty which I hope to be putting on the forums very soon.  Can't wait to chat with everyone later!
