I don't think I have seen any other Floridians on here either. :)
Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?

Hi,

This is the handle I use most places online.  I'm originally from Atlanta, GA, lived in Boston, MA for a while, and am now attending law school in New York City.  I've known about Carl's Guide for a while (since I found it on Google while looking for some help right after I started playing The Sims 3), but just discovered the forums recently.  I played the original Sims game, somehow missed The Sims 2 and restarted with The Sims 3.  I bought World Adventures a few weeks ago and Ambitions just today - now once I get it all downloaded and patched, I'll get back to the Immortal Dynasty I was trying to get going.  This is a great site and forum, thanks for hosting it!

Ok..I confess, I joined three weeks ago  :-[

But, here I am now!

I like creating pretty sims. I'm really REALLY bad at building. But most of all, I like writting stories, although I'm not so good about finishing them.  ;D

-And I guess thats all.  8)

Ahoy-hoy. Greetings fellow addicts.  I am Snuzi and I am a Simaholic.

The rapidly deteriorating state of our local economy has left me without a job and any valid prospects for the foreseeable future.  It is with large thanks to these unfortunate circumstances of mine that I have become invigorated with the passion for Sims that I lost when I embarked upon a university degree and signed my life away for good.  Every cloud and its silver lining, hey?  At least, had it not been for that, I wouldn't be here today - gracing you with my endless wit and soul-defying cynicism.   ;)

On a lighter note, I greatly look forward to making a lot of new friends here.

Thank you, Simstar3 - it's great to meet you!  :)

The horizons are soon to be expanding for me if I actually pass my driving test on Monday.  Too many jobs these days require experience or do not meet my individual criteria.  As it is, I'm relying on public transport which greatly limits the hours during which I can work and that's even if they offer a sufficient number of hours to pay the ridiculous hike in fares.  To get qualifications, I need money.  To get money, I need a job.  To get a job, I need qualifications.  Some greater force is conspiring against me, I'm sure of it.

Aww... Can't really say I know too much about careers, considering I'm not even old enough to get a part time job, although my mom says she'll pay me to work at her produce store when it opens in April. Hope things look up for you soon! :)

Welcome newcomers. Hope find yourselves a nice home here in the forum.

I, too, have been able to dedicate my life to the Sims after the loss of my J.O.B. But I need to get back out there or I won't have any electricity to keep my laptop powered up to play my game. So I spose a little income wouldn't hurt. So I'm back on the hunt again.

Oh and I had a baby too. :D Welcome to the forum!
